Story
Gypsy is a 10year old corgi mix whose owner recently passed away. She is generally calm and sedate, but requires regular walks to aid weight loss. She also requires a diet dog food. She currently weights 63lbs, but has a target weight of 40lbs. Gypsy is good with other dogs and used to having another dog in the home. She is good with kids who are gentle, but is unlikely to run and play with them. She does like to be near people and will follow them around the house. She has been primarily an outside dog, but is housebroken. She does not bark. She can walk on a leash, but does best with a harness because she can be stubborn if she doesn't want to go somewhere. Gypsy is current on her shots, but will need a booster in early November. She is currently in a foster placement.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! I’m Willow, a 3 year old, 30lb Corgi Heeler mix. Foster mom tells me that I’m the best companion, best snuggler, best fetcher, and best dog in general. Not to mention I’m freaking adorable. I can be a bit nervous meeting new people, but boy when I do I love them through and through. So much so that if you even walk past me I will roll over for belly rubs and stare at you until you give them. I don’t have typical heeler energy. I love a good game of fetch in the backyard, going for walks, and playing with other dogs. I’m potty trained, walk well on a leash, am great with kids, and though I have crate anxiety and don’t love to be kenneled, you don’t have to worry about leaving me out, I’ll find a good spot on the couch and wait for you to get home. I haven’t lived with cats but I think with patience and training I could co exist with one. I’d love a dog friend in my new home, one that loves to play with other dogs and would be my friend rather than in charge of me. This girl doesn’t need a boss! One other thing, Willow has been my name all my life, so it will come with me in the adoption. Foster mom says that’s lucky because naming a dog as cute as me could be hard, so I made it easy for my new family.  Do I sound like the couch potato for you? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I’m Sandy B and I’m a gal that’s just under 3 (years old). If I had to describe myself in 3 words it would be: Sweet n Low. I have short legs and I love to snuggle. At about 30 pounds I fit (almost) perfectly on your lap—at least the front half of me does.  I have the body shape and attitude of a corgi so I’m probably a corgi mix. I can be a bit bossy and will herd you around the house, but I’m oh-so fluffy and cute.   I haven’t had an accident in the house, I don’t chew on things, and I like my crate—with the door open. I walk nicely on a leash. Though I sometimes want to chase cats when I see them, it’s pretty easy to get me back on track. When I’m not snuggling right into your neck, I like to nap all over the house, adding to the decor as the cutest living rug or couch cushion.  I need someone who will patiently work with me on my separation anxiety and help me feel safe and secure. I am VERY chill when someone’s around, but I do not like being left and I’m vocal about it. I think I’m getting better each day!  I am okay with other dogs, but don’t always like them in my space. My foster sister and I have figured out how to share treats and humans, but I might need some time and careful supervision to warm up to a future sibling. I haven’t been around many kids and I am a bit mouthy and jumpy when I get excited so would probably only do well with older, dog savvy kids.  I know when I find my forever family I will love them to bits and when I finally get settled into a home my confidence will grow. I didn’t know many tricks or commands when I first got to my foster but I learn quick and want to please! She is very loving and will snuggle in any lap available. House and kennel trained. She is an inside dog but loves to be outside. She sleeps on my bed at night Does not do well with other animals. Would be great for an older person looking for an easy companion. Loves to ride in the car. She is 5 years old.
