Meet Firefly — a bright spark of energy and charm! This confident, playful boy lives up to his name with his lively spirit and curiosity that lights up every room. Firefly loves to play, especially with his favorite ball toys. You’ll often catch him stalking, pouncing, and chasing them around like a tiny panther on a mission. He’s also a big fan of food puzzles, which keep his sharp mind and food motivation happily occupied! Firefly is social and easygoing with people and adapts quickly to new situations. He’s great with both cats and dogs — he can comfortably share space, food, and naps with them. After a day full of fun, Firefly likes to curl up on the bed with his humans or lounge on a cat tree for a cozy snooze. Firefly would thrive in an active home that loves interactive playtime and has other furry friends to keep him company. Jenkins' love language is play… play… and more play! This spirited guy is all about fun, and he’ll chase a wand toy for as long as you’ll let him. Jenkins has energy to burn and thrives with daily playtime. He’s the kind of cat who turns a living room into a playground and makes you laugh while doing it. Outside of his playful streak, Jenkins is an easygoing companion who settles into new spaces quickly. He enjoys being pet and having people nearby, though he’s not overly demanding about attention. While he wasn’t a lap cat in foster care, that could change once he feels fully at home. Jenkins would be a great match for someone who works from home or spends a lot of time around the house and is looking for a playful friend. Amara is a shy but sweet Siamese-mix, 6-month old kitten with big blue eyes who loves to cuddle and to play. She is cream colored with an abstract design on her body in light brown with pale orange highlights. She has a striped tail with an orange tip. Amara can be quite talkative and will purr as soon as she sees her person. With strangers, she is more tentative and often hides behind a chair. Her favorite game is to pounce on a toy. She will hide behind anything. For some reason she thinks the toy mouse couldn’t possibly see her behind that ball of yarn. She’ll crawl into a paper bag, animating it as she gets into her best pounce position. She’ll then leap forward out of the bag, looking a little confused about what exactly she was after. Amara is fascinated with faces: staring directly into eyes, kissing a forehead, and even once putting her paw into a yawning mouth, purring the whole time. If there’s a choice between food and lap time, she’ll grab a bite and then jump onto the lap to cuddle. I met Amara when she would cry to me from across a busy street where I was feeding a colony of cats. She was smart enough to wait until I came to her side of the street to eat. Being patient when hungry is an unusual trait in a kitten.  It took Amara only a couple of days at our house to go from hiding behind a chair to running to greet me, purring loudly. We’re looking for someone who will give Amara the chance to come out from hiding to be  loved.
