Venuz certainly qualifies as she feels most herself, the safest and the most relaxed when she has cat companions in her life. Venuz was formerly an unfixed Mama cat living in a colony outside, and while the conditions may have been rough she was happy to be with her cat community. Until some of the other female cats began rejecting and bullying her, and the caretaker who helped them realized she was in danger. That experience has not dulled her desire to be back with cats who understand her. If you have a multi-cat household or are willing to become one, consider this beauty in bloom.  After a good acclimation period in her foster home, Venuz has grown increasingly fond of her foster since they started playing together (once she figured out how wand toys work!). They have grown up in a managed feral colony and are very familiar with people, though they are not handled or petted. Willow may be a bit shy at first, but she warms up for snuggles and pets, especially if you have snacks. Originally found as a feral kitten, she was spayed (hence her cute ear tip) and decided indoor life suited her just fine. Don’t let the distinguished name fool you—Mister is the most relaxed, loving, and charming "chill dude" you will ever meet! This gorgeous, blue-eyed Snowshoe mix (estimated 7 years old) is a master of comfort and world-class confidence. Mister originally came to SVPP from the San Jose shelter needing severe dental care. He received major surgery and is now completely pain-free. His dental clearance left him with almost no teeth, resulting in a permanent, ridiculously cute little tongue "blep" that he loves to show off! He eats his soft food like a champ and is completely healthy. We know he’s feeling incredible because of his absolute confidence. Recently, a kind neighbor who is a photographer invited Mister to her house for a photoshoot. Instead of hiding, Mister strutted in, claimed the furniture, posed like a runway model, and climbed right into her arms for a deep, purring snuggle session. He did the exact same thing at his vet checkup, climbing right into the vet's lap to purr. He treats every stranger like his new best friend! In his foster home, he has also officially earned the title of "Uncle Mister."
