Cornish Rex kittens & cats in Aurora, Colorado

Meet Cuba! She is a beautiful 1-year-old Cornish Rex. Cuba is smart, playful, and independent. She loves being around people but prefers attention on her own terms. She gets along well with our small dog. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. She was brought to the US from Russia and has a Russian veterinary passport. Her most recent vaccinations were done here in the US. Her microchip was implanted in Russia and has not been checked or registered in the US. Unfortunately, our son has a severe cat allergy, so we need to find her a new home. Cuba normally uses her Litter Robot, but she has repeatedly peed on our son's bed. She does not do this anywhere else in the house. A medical cause has not been ruled out. We will give her new family all her belongings, including her Litter Robot, toys, and other supplies. We hope to find a loving and patient family who will take good care of her!

  Hi! My name is Rooney, and I’m around 4.5 months old, a little over 4 pounds, and I can’t wait to find my forever home! I’m a “flame point Siamese,” which means I have bright blue eyes and orange coloring on my ears, tail, and paws. I remind my foster mom of a creamsicle. I meow often because I have so much to say! I am curious and surprisingly tall, and I’m still gaining confidence in my jumping skills.    I was rescued from a cat colony in mid-October. I was spayed and then treated for my upper respiratory infection. Since then I’ve gotten very accustomed to the good life as an indoor kitten. I love snoozing on top of humans so long as they give me the requisite head scratches. When I want some space, I like to nap under the furniture near humans, that way I’m still socializing. Sometimes I nap nose down into the carpet. I know it looks silly! I love wet treats and cozy couches. I purr loudly when I’m brushed. To my foster mom’s delight, I don’t scratch any furniture except for my scratching posts! And I’m great at using the litterbox.    I am getting braver and braver every day since I was rescued. I am FIV+ but I don’t bite. I’ve been playing safely with my foster mom’s cat, who doesn’t have FIV. We really love playing together - we like to hustle around the house seeing what everybody’s up to and if there are any treats hiding for us to find. I’d be happy to have some cat roommates in my forever home but they’re not required. My foster mom predicts that I’ll like school age kids because I like getting attention from high energy creatures.   I want a forever home where I can grow, play, learn, snooze, and love! foster:  elor Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home.
