🐾 Meet Tanner! 🐾
Tanner is a big boy with a BIG heart—and once he decides you’re his person, congratulations! You’ve been chosen. ❤️
This sweet guy is a professional lounger, part-time playmate and full-time cuddle buddy. He’s pretty relaxed and would much rather hang out close to his person than run laps around the house. He’ll play when the mood strikes, but he does tire out a little more easily, so his ideal schedule is basically: play a little, nap a lot, cuddle often.
And Tanner LOVES his people. Give him cheek scratches, chin scratches and forehead kisses and he’s a happy guy. He’ll snuggle up by your head, ask for pets and sometimes even wrap his paws around your arm for a little extra affection. 🥹 At bedtime, he likes to curl up by your feet—because apparently even sleep requires proximity to his favorite human.
Tanner is friendly with adults and handles meeting new people well. He hasn’t lived with kids, so that remains a mystery. With other cats, he prefers a slow introduction with plenty of sniffing and one-on-one time before becoming roommates.
When it comes to playtime, Tanner is all about the wand toys! He loves chasing things across the floor and pouncing when they get near his paws. He also enjoys kickers and his crinkle mat, where he can hunt for his favorite mousey. 🐭
One of Tanner’s best features? His chirp! When his foster comes home, he gets so excited that he sounds like he’s saying, “HELLO! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!” And those little chirps are guaranteed to make you smile.
Tanner is litter-box trained and needs a larger box to accommodate his handsome size. He knows his name but hasn’t mastered any official commands yet—which is probably fine, because he has absolutely no plans to be a dog. 😹
Tanner would be a fantastic companion for a homebody. He’s perfectly happy doing his own thing, but what he really wants is to be near his person. If your idea of a good day involves a comfy bed, soft blankets, a little playtime and a furry buddy who wants to hang out with you, Tanner may be your guy! ❤️
