Story
Ronaldo was abandoned on my block and according to neighbors, he chose my house, despite them trying to rescue him throughout the day. I took him to aspca where he lost his left eye due to a terrible eye infection. He has since come to live with me, however, he is a highly active pooch and I work a lot. He is crate trained, and house trained. He is very sweet, affectionate, smart, quick, athletic (hence his name), and super food motivated. When I think of a good long term home for him, it is either with an active retired person, or a family with teenagers. He likes a lot of attention and is very playful. He is eager to please and will happily be trained to do whatever pleases you. He does best with routine, but does like a little variation. I believe he does have some seperation anxiety, he will be quite curious and concerned about where you are and what you are doing. He feels safest when you are there with him. He likes loose leash walks, but loves free run.

Story
We got her about 4 years ago from a family friend. When we got her, we were told she was no more than a year old. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a definitive answer. When we first had her, someone was almost always home with her. We lived in a house with a backyard for her to play and lie in. Space for her to hide and nap around the house. But recently, we moved into an apartment, and adjusting has been difficult. She's a pretty calm dog. Not easily startled. But she needs space and attention. She is potty-trained, but we've been experiencing some issues recently. I firmly believe that with a little structure and a better environment, that'll be sorted out. Cuddles, rubs, and food are what keep this little bean going. She's a curious dog, but not mischievous. As much as I love her, I can no longer afford the time or money to take care of her. I am not 100 percent sure what shots or check-ups she may need at the moment. But her overall health condition is fine.

Story
Elsa is a 2 year old, 7 lb, white Shih Tzu-terrier mix. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on her vaccines and monthly preventatives. Check out Elsa's full profile before submitting an application, this snow queen has specific requirements: https://www.fawnssmalldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/elsa Elsa is the last dog from the January 2025 hoarding situation. As the least socialized, Elsa's anxiety and timid nature made it hard for her to trust that humans wanted to care for her. After a lot of love, patience, and hard work from our fosters - Elsa is now medicated and thriving! She no longer hides behind her foster siblings and started actively play and engage with them. It is truly a joy to see! Like many dogs with her background, Elsa prefers to be a pack dog. She's been doing well with house and potty training. She will follow the other dogs and go potty outside in the yard. Elsa is continuing to come out of her shell. Her ideal home has patient and loving adopters with a pack of two or more similarly sized dogs, some of whom around her age. She requires a home with at least two dogs who like play. Elsa must have a securely fenced yard, she needs a tall fence that she can't slip out of or climb over. She needs an adult only home. She does fine with cats, she mostly ignored her prior foster kitty sibling.
