Story
Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Felix - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! SNM (single neutered male) is in search of FLH (fur-ever loving home) Oh my, I find myself single again and on the prowl for my fur-ever family! I was found abandoned in a local doggie park. I'm so confused as to what I did so wrong that they just left me there, cuz I'm really a very well behaved boy that loves to hang out with my people. Even all that hasn't gotten me down, I'm still a happy boy that is just waiting for the right family that... I'm looking for someone that likes long walks in the moonlight, getting caught in the rain. I'm not really into yoga but I'd be happy to be your support buddy. If you have half a brain, you'll realize what a great catch I am!!! I'm not really into health food, but I'd share a pizza with you! If you're into Champaign... the bubbles tickle my nose so I'll just take a bowl of water! Then I'm the love that you've looked for... Fill out my adoption application and we can 'Escape' together. If you love cuddles, you're in luck. I loves to cuddle!! I also loves being petted. Very relaxing, puts me right to sleep! I know some basic commands and am ready to learn a whole bunch more. I am good with other dogs and kids! Oh, did I mention what a handsome stud muffin I am?!! Just look at these beautiful amber eyes in that shiny black coat. Ya know, I really am a great catch!!!! I would do best with an active family that will include me in their outdoor adventures. I am probably not the best choice for apartment living but with a family that has a nice big backyard and if that yard came with a playful sibling of either 2 or 4 legged variety, that'd be sooooo awesome!!!! If you're looking just to play around, I'm not the boy for you. But if you're in this for the long haul, I'm your man! I'm ready to be in a lasting relationship... with you!

Story
Harvey is the most gentle, loving good boy. He does fantastic with all other dogs, and he does great on car rides. He's very easy going and medium energy. He loves all people and does well on walks. Harvey is about 2 years old and weighs 60 pounds. We'd love to know his breed mix--he has the cutest pink nose and soft black fur with white and brown mixed in--he looks like a flat coated retriever mix or a small Bernese Mountain Dog. His calm, sweet nature really is the best!Harvey is heartworm positive, but doesn't have any symptoms, so we're using the slow kill method, which is much more gentle. He does not need to be on crate rest and shouldn't have any adverse effects.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or $200 for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as ""Out of Town"" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.
