Story
If you're looking for a super friendly dog, Ranger is your guy! He likes people, small dogs, big dogs and he may even like cats, we just haven't tested him with one. We think he is part Chesapeake Bay Retriever, somewhere between 5 and 7 years old, with another retriever line mixed in as well. Yes, he does need to lose some weight, but he's already taken off a few pounds with better food and more exercise in his foster home. Even though he's a big boy, he is easy to walk on leash. He loves going for walks and doesn't pull, so at 80 pounds and losing more steadily he's a good candidate for someone who wants a walking buddy and is committed to continuing his weight loss regimen. Ranger is house trained, has yet to bark at anything/anyone and doesn't beg for food. All in all, this boy is already showing us what a wonderful companion he will be. ➡️ Adoption Application: https://frrescue.knack.com/db#adopter-application/ 🗺 Adoption Areas: Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego County 🏠 Our dogs are located in foster homes throughout Southern California 🌐 Website: https://www.fetchinretrieversrescue.org/ 🦴 Kids 10+
