Cannoli's story didn't have the happiest of starts, and we are looking to find her happily ever after! Cannoli came to us from a large group of dogs who were all extremely under socialized and lacking many of the life skills a dog of her age should have. She has come a long way in the short while she has been with us, and she will certainly continue to blossom with patience, love, and gentle training.Cannoli is still nervous of new things and new people, so she will require a lot of patience, training, and an understanding of dog body language and cues. She is not suited for a loud or busy home, a home with small children, puppies, or other animals. She has plenty of experience living with other dogs so a calm, confident K9 companion may help her settle into a home. We're not certain how she feels about making friends with cats. She has been working on house training and has shown a lot of improvement! Cannoli had a major dental surgery to deal with her severe dental disease, and she is still awaiting a final recheck before she is ready to be adopted.
