Story
Hi! I’m Tilly — a little girl with a big heart and a whole lot of happy wiggles Breed: Dachshund/Chihuahua mixAge: 1 yearGender: Female    Weight: 15.5 lb   Highlight(s): Good with other dogs, affectionate, social Life didn’t start out easy for me. After I had my puppies, I was left behind and waited under a tree, hoping my family would come back. They didn’t… but that turned out to be okay, because kind humans found me and showed me that the world can be good again. I arrived in Vancouver on January 6th and am currently staying at a foster home in North Vancouver, where I’ve been settling in beautifully. I’m a playful, spunky, confident pup who loves her walks, enjoys saying hello to every dog she meets, and trots around with a permanent smile. I may be full of personality, but I’m wonderfully quiet — I never bark! I’m also a certified little shadow. I’ll happily follow you everywhere in the house, room to room. If there are two people at home, you might catch me trotting back and forth trying to keep track of both of you — I don’t want to miss out on any fun I’m a quick learner too! I picked up my name and the command “come” in just one day, and I’m eager to keep learning more with my future family. I’m confident and unbothered by everyday noises — cars, traffic, and even the vacuum don’t scare me one bit. I take new situations in stride and adapt quickly. I’m about 1 year old, 7 kg, spayed, healthy, and very well-mannered. Once you show me where to do my business, I’ll stick to it (promise!). I’m house-trained, walk beautifully on leash, ride calmly in the car, and I’m totally crate-comfy. I get along with everyone — kids, adults, dogs, and even cats. I’d love a doggy sibling to play with, but it’s not required. If I’m an only pup, I’ll just happily say hi to all my furry friends on our walks instead I love my daily adventures and would enjoy one long walk or two shorter walks a day until I settle into my new home. I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yesKids: yes Fears: Non observed . Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Leash skills: Yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Yes Health notes: I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##2621838##

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Harry 🌟 💙 Adogs Center Account: @_adogs_ **The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate.** 1.) Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and will be retested for bladder stones in January 2026. * Is allergic to chicken, and fed with the prescribed diet. * Received surgery to remove bladder stones. The stones were made up of calcium oxalate, which have a high chance of recurrence. Therefore, consistent care and management is required. * Has much earwax, so his ears are cleaned up regularly. 2.) Rescue Story * Harry was brought to the city shelter with his mother, Gahui. They were both adopted through Adogs in 2021 after overcoming a difficult past. Unfortunately, four years later, they have been returned and are now looking for a new family again. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Gets scared when strangers reach out their hands. However, if you give him time, he will come up to sniff you and enjoys sticking close to people. Even shows cute affection to those who he’s opened his heart to. Used to stay well with a human baby and showed good manners around them. * With Dogs: It takes time to get close to new friends. Won’t play with other dogs if he doesn’t feel comfortable with them even after knowing them for a long time. Gets along very well with dog friends he really clicks with. * With Cats: Tends to bark when he sees them from a distance. * Separation Anxiety: Has rarely been left completely alone, as he is used to staying with a doggy roommate. Tends to rely on other dogs. Doesn’t have any separation anxiety and actually stays calm even when other dogs cause trouble without people around. * Potty Training: Fully house-trained for both indoor and outdoor potty. * Walks: Does very well on leash and is patient, waiting for the other dog when out for walks together. May pull slightly when he needs to potty urgently. Loves running. * Hygiene: Accepts baths well on an anti-slip mat. Tends to bite his own toenails, so his nail length should be carefully managed. Is good at getting his nails trimmed while being held. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness. Very calm and well-behaved in the car. * Nip: Doesn’t show any behavior of biting. Runs away if anything makes him uncomfortable. * Bark: Tends to be wary and bark when he sees strangers or animals. * Like: Likes soft and fluffy surfaces! Loves food and even eyes on other dogs' meals at times. * Dislike: Is scared of walking on slippery surfaces like tiles or marble. Is afraid of unfamiliar environments but tends to adapt quickly. * Trick: Can follow the instruction such as 'Sit' and 'Paw' with treat.
