Please contact Diane Pedulla (dianep@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.small sweetie seeking fresh start and love! LIL PEEP NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Lil Peep       Best Guess for Breed:   Dachshund and terrier mix     Best Guess for Age:   3 years as of April 2026      SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:   21 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs!  We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Special adoption considerations: Lil Peep is a truly Lucky Dog. He tested positive for heartworms, but landed in a place where heartworm treatment is provided! Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative. Heartworm dogs can resume full active and normal lives, but need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment. We are happy to discuss where in the treatment process this Lucky Dog is in right now! Just email the adoption coordinator - the address is at lower left!   Lil Peep is Looking For:  His forever home! Story
2 years, 37 pounds Personality: Snuggler, playful, adaptable, adventurous, outgoing, affectionate Jen is the kind of dog who wins hearts everywhere she goes. This sweet, low-riding girl combines playful energy with a deeply affectionate personality, happily bouncing through neighborhood walks and then melting into your chest for quiet cuddle time at home. She loves cuddling and tucking her head under you for affection. Out and about, Jen is eager to greet new friends—both human and canine—and her adorable personality regularly stops people in their tracks. She would love a family who enjoys getting outside and exploring with her. At home, Jen has proven herself to be adaptable and easy to live with. She settled into her foster home beautifully after an initially shy introduction and now happily greets guests and relaxes comfortably with the whole family. She is fully crate trained, naps calmly when left alone, and even chooses to hang out in her crate on her own because she sees it as a safe, cozy space. Her afternoon routines always are filled with licky mats and cozy naps. Jen is ready to bring joy, adventure, and endless snuggles to her forever family. If you’re looking for a loving companion who can keep up on walks and then curl up close for cuddles afterward, Jen may be your perfect match. 📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. Meet Lylla :) • She rides so well that if you open the car door she gets in by herself, and she doesn't get car sick at all. If you like traveling she would make a really good buddy! • She loves playing with other dogs, running in the park, cuddles, kisses, sleeping with you, walks, hikes, and delicious food (fruit, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cheese, meat) and treats! • Personality: She is affectionate, full of energy, loves to have fun, and adapts well to new things. She likes both people and dogs and cats (she'll play with them). She also loves to play in the park or the mountains. When she's excited, she'll purr to show her excitement. She loves to be held - she wants to fall asleep with you in your arms. She's the best dog ever! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.
