Story
5 years old, snuggle bug. He is an anxious dog, but non aggressive. Has NEVER bit or attacked. Skittish. Loves laying under blankets, on furniture, or with his favorite people. Likes food and treats but will not eat if overly anxious. Has been around kids, cats, and dogs without issue, but may be happier in a house without kids. DOES NOT like being picked up. Has not had an accident in the house in over 3 years (previously had only occurred in severe cold weather and snow). Kennel trained, although will bark on occasion if people are in the home or thunderstorms wake him up. Overall, QUIET he does not usually bark for any reason outside of being in the kennel.

Story
Jazzy is an adorable, tiny senior Dachshund who recently came into the care of Beauties & Beasts Rescue along with her two sisters after their beloved owner passed away. This little lady has a big personality. She's incredibly sweet, loves to cuddle, and isn't shy about letting you know when she has something to say. Jazzy is very food-motivated, enjoys mealtime, and carries herself with the confidence of a dog half her size. When she arrived, Jazzy needed a little TLC. She was overdue for a bath, her nails were very overgrown, and she was a bit underweight. After some pampering, she's feeling much better, and we're helping her regain a healthy weight. If you're looking for a devoted lap dog who will happily curl up beside you and fill your home with love, Jazzy could be the perfect companion. She may be a senior, but she has plenty of affection left to give and is ready to spend her golden years with a family to call her own. Could Jazzy be the missing piece of your family?

Story
Coco is a sweet senior Dachshund who recently came into the care of Beauties & Beasts Rescue alongside her two sisters after their beloved owner passed away. While life has changed dramatically for her, Coco is ready to spend her golden years in a loving home. This gentle girl has one simple dream: a cozy couch, a soft blanket, and a person to snuggle with for as long as they'll let her. She loves relaxing by your side and is happiest when she's close to her people. Coco is likely losing her vision and may also have some hearing loss, but she doesn't let that stop her from enjoying life. She previously lived peacefully with two other Dachshunds and has a charmingly vocal personality. She'll happily let everyone know when it's time for dinner and isn't shy about sharing her opinions. Everyone Coco has met has been greeted with tail wags and sweet kisses. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will appreciate every quiet moment together, Coco may be the perfect addition to your family. If you have room in your heart and on your couch for this lovable senior, Coco is ready to meet you.

Story
Moxie is a charming little Dachshund with a big personality and an even bigger heart.  This little one has a youthful spirit and a happy attitude This confident little girl has settled into foster care with ease. She shares her home with dogs ranging from 12 to 100 pounds and gets along well with everyone. She has no problem standing up for herself if another dog gets a little too enthusiastic, but she's friendly, social, and fits right in with the pack. One of Moxie's favorite activities is playing fetch. Watching this tiny girl chase after a ball is guaranteed to make you smile. When she's not playing, she's happiest curled up next to her person. She bonded with her foster family almost immediately and loves being wherever her humans are. Moxie has already had a nail trim and will be getting her veterinary care updated soon. She will most likely need a dental cleaning, but otherwise she's doing well and enjoying her new routine. Her biggest challenge right now is potty training. Moxie doesn't yet understand that potty time belongs outside. She consistently goes near the door, which makes us believe she may have previously been trained to use potty pads or an indoor potty area. With supervision, routine, and patience, she's already beginning to learn. She has also adjusted well to crate training. While she may whine briefly when first kenneled, she settles quickly and has kept her crate clean without any accidents. Moxie isn't a high-energy dog. She's simply looking for someone to love and a cozy place to call home. Her affectionate nature, confidence, and easygoing personality will make her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted little best friend. If you're searching for a loyal lap dog who enjoys a game of fetch just as much as a quiet evening by your side, Moxie may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Meet Sofia! Teeny, tiny little Sofia was relinquished to us after having two litters of puppies (adoptable pup Cinco is one of her babies). This sweet pea had never been to the vet and was miserably engorged with milk when she came to us. She weighs about 6 pounds and is an absolute gem. Sofia has two other dogs in her foster home and she gets along great with them. She also loves human kiddos and will snuggle up in whatever lap is available! Her foster family describes her as `tiny and cute and happy and snuggly` - which is a pretty perfect combo of attributes, in our opinion! Sofia is working on going potty outside and is housebroken with supervision. Sofia is a two year old chihuahua mix.
