My name is Greta and I arrived to the shelter after my owner passed away....I came in with my boyfriend Scooter - and we have been best friends our whole lives. I am going to be 13 years old on Nov 2nd and I am a petite gal at 13lbs. And even though I have a gray muzzle....I do not act my age at all...I am a super active gal...and boy can I run fast...I could keep up with a puppy - no problem!!! I did just get an extensive dental....and now I have no teeth at all! But I am all good and eat just fine! I have a funny personality and I am very affectionate and I will climb up your leg to get up on your lap...I probably was a tree climber in my younger days!!! LOL My BF Scooter and I are a bonded pair and we would need to be adopted together, also we would need a fenced yard as we are super fast So if you are looking for 2 super seniors who are loving...affectionate and spunky then we are the pair for you - we guarantee we will make you smile!!!!

Jules was born around February 21, 2017 and weighs about 22 pounds.  Joyful was contacted by the brother of a man who had gone into Hospice and left behind 3 dogs and a cat.  The man's brother had owned the animals and loved them very much but he was ill and unable to take care of himself let alone his pets.  Jules is an extremely loving, sweet girl, once she knows you but she will take a little time to warm up.  Jules does well with the other dogs here and lived with a cat in her former life.  Jules rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash.  This is all we know so far and we will be learning as we go and so will you!  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $475.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. So there we were, living in a home... when BAM! One day the family up and MOVES WITHOUT US!!! We had NO IDEA what was happening! No Dear John letter, no food and water left for us, nowhere to go and no one to take care of us..... WELP, the MOVERS took us in!! I mean, that was amazing! So we got to the rescue because hardworking moving men cared enough about us to save us and find us a rescue!! Now we are loving life in our foster home, our foster family is SO COOL! Lots of excitement, fun people to meet and all kinds of shade/playtime! We are dachshund mixed pups, all different colors but lowriders for sure :) Our mom is the sweetest and most FUN mom!
