Callie was found as a stray wearing her harness. It took days to capture her as she was very fearful while running free. Once caught she turned into the sweetest little girl. She is such a fun girl. She is very playful and active. She has a great temperament! Callie is in a foster home with a fenced in yard but does try to sneak out. She is what we would consider a "flight risk" meaning if given the chance she would be running free and exploring. Therefore, we are requiring a fenced in yard as we know how hard she was to capture!!! Canine Partners Program only places our dogs and puppies into homes that meet "their" needs! Our dogs are fully vetted. This includes spay or neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies, microchipped, Heartworm and Lyme tested, worming, flea treatments, Heartworm prevention started, and any other medical care needed. Foster to adopt dogs, simply means they live with you while receiving their vet care. Once this is complete, then you adopt! Our adoption fee also includes 6-week group obedience class (value $125.) If adopting a puppy that is not spayed/neutered and underage, we cover spay/neuter at 6 months. Paws In Prison dogs will not be ready for their new families until they complete their program. Jules was born around February 21, 2017 and weighs about 22 pounds.  Joyful was contacted by the brother of a man who had gone into Hospice and left behind 3 dogs and a cat.  The man's brother had owned the animals and loved them very much but he was ill and unable to take care of himself let alone his pets.  Jules is an extremely loving, sweet girl, once she knows you but she will take a little time to warm up.  Jules does well with the other dogs here and lived with a cat in her former life.  Jules rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash.  This is all we know so far and we will be learning as we go and so will you!  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $475.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
