Meet Lola, an almost 3-year-old dachshund whose happiness level can only be described as “tail-powered rocket ship!” Lola loves living life at full speed. You’ll often find her racing around the fenced yard with her foster siblings, organizing toy chaos, and making sure everyone is having as much fun as she is. After a busy day of adventures, she’s happy to clock out and claim her favorite spot on the recliner next to foster mom for some well-earned cuddle time. This sweet girl is potty trained and crate trained. She’s still learning that leashes aren’t strange spaghetti attached to humans, but she’s making progress every day. Lola was recently spayed on May 29 and is now ready to start accepting applications for her forever family! Lola would do best in a home with at least one other dog to be her partner in zoomies, wrestling matches, and neighborhood squirrel surveillance. A fenced yard is a must for this active girl who loves to stretch those dachshund legs. If your home is missing a joyful little sidekick with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Lola may be the perfect fit. ❤️ Lola is somewhat hesitant with men when she first meets them. Apply today and let the Lola Olympics begin! https://www.dakotadachshundrescue.org/forms/ Lola is 2 yrs young, her adoption fee is $400 plus sales tax $18=$418   My adoption fee help with my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental  and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 9, 2026, 5:28 pm

I'm a very skittish breeder release girl looking for a furever home of my own. Living life as a house pet is all new to me so I am working hard learning housetraining and wearing a harness. I have not mastered walking on a leash yet so a fenced yard is a must! I am very very skittish and need a lot of work on learning to trust people. I chew off a leash in minutes. I have to be cornered to be caught in the house. Do you have a soft spot and a lot of love and patience for a frightened girl like me? I am 7 years old, my adoption fee is $350 plus sales tax $15.75 = $365.75Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 9, 2026, 5:28 pm

Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.   Play (with) Misti for me… what a sweet, 6-year old breeder release girl! Shes the prettiest girl in the room. She’s just learning to be a dog and she has come so far in just two weeks in her foster home. She loves her foster brother and follows him around, learning new things everyday (and she’s pretty). She has become a champ walking on lead and has a great record for pottying outside.   She has the softest coat and gets bathed about weekly and brushed every other day. She tolerates both, but it takes effort on her part. She’s a low clearance girl, so standing in water is not her idea of fun. She’s really a shorty! But at about 12#, she’s definitely a mini.   She is currently very skittish around new people. She is still learning to trust. That can take a while. But she’s very content sitting on your lap, in her bed, or on the couch. And do I mention she’s pretty? She does need a ramp or stairs to get onto furniture and benefits from stairs to get up three steps into her foster house. She’s not much of a jumper and has had back issues in the past.   Right now, she gets around well and goes for a walk twice a day. She’s building strength and stamina. Continuing that habit will help her live a healthy life. She walks at a leisurely pace. She’s never going to run with you, though she has run in the yard a bit with her foster brother… well behind him. She’s so pretty and docile! She would be good in a home with an older adoptive parent or in a home with another small dog. So far, she’s not very comfortable around bigger dogs or fast moving small children.Misti does require a fenced yard to keep her safe. She doesn't know any recall commands and she gets spooked easily.   Play (with) Misti? She’s learning. Right now she doesn’t show much interest. But she’s very content watching her foster brother when he chases his toys.   She’s sweet and pretty. She won’t be fully vetted with her spay and dental until the end of June. At that time she will be fully available for adoption.” Misti is 6 yrs old, she weighs 12 pounds, her adoption fee is $350 plus sales tax $15.75=$365.75   My adoption fee help with my vetting needs such as HW test, presurgical bloodwork, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 9, 2026, 5:28 pm
