Story
Meet Opie Opie is a sweet, easygoing pup who is ready to find a family to call his own. He would fit into a wide variety of homes and, thanks to his perfect size, would make an excellent apartment companion. Opie walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys getting out for leisurely strolls before settling in for some quality time with his people. One thing that makes Opie extra special is the bond he shares with his brother, Baxter. Although they came to us separately, they formed an incredible friendship during their time at the shelter and have become inseparable. They bring each other comfort and confidence, so we're hoping to find a family willing to open their hearts and home to both of them. If you're looking for two loving companions who are happiest together, Opie and Baxter can't wait to meet you!

Onyx is such a sweet playful pup. He has a longer body than his other siblings and his hair is a bit longer than theirs also.  He loves to sit in my lap while watching tv and is just so little.  I have been fostering him for 3 weeks now and he has only gained a pound.  His mom was a 10 pound terrier but he must look like his dad. His feet and face have a few feathers that are super cute too.ASVT does not have a facility; all of our adoptable pets live in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. Story
Skarlett is about 10 years old now . I acquired her through neighbors whose house burned down . They are unable to take her back . She is scared of people at first . She takes some time to trust people but after she is comfortable she will be very affectionate. She loves to sleep under your cover next to you or snuggle in a dog bed with a blanket . She loves to play with her toys and chase balls and absolutely is a sucker for snacks. She doesn’t mind getting a little dressed up in her outfits either. She loves to go for walks and bark at everything . She mostly loves to play and sleep . She loves snacks . We celebrate her birthday in December since we don’t know when her exact birthday is . She will be 11 on December 27th . I think she would do great in a home with someone that doesn’t have a lot of noise in their home .

Story
Diesel - Dachshund/MicroBully - Male - 3 yrs - www.twyla.org If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org Meet Diesel: This 3-year-old Dachshund/Micro Bully (?) mix is a uniquely looking little guy.  He is active and playful and  LOVES playing with other dogs. When he's not playing, he likes burrowing into his dog bed or a blanket for a nap. Diesel is mostly house trained, and is getting used to his belly bands - he is quite clever and likes to rub himself on furniture to get "his pants" off of him. Diesel is a little wary of new people. Once you are in his circle - he can be bribed with treats - he is a Velcro sweetheart who wants attention and affection, but is also content to just hang out with you. He loves to cuddle as much as possible. Diesel is looking for a family with dog experience, another dog for him to play with and opportunities for excursions and training to boost his confidence. Older kids may be ok, no small kids for him, please. While he's not hyper vocal, he may be too loud for apartment living and would love to to have his own yard to play in with his doggy playmate ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***

Story
Meet Baxter Baxter is a lovable, happy-go-lucky beagle with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Like any true beagle, he isn't shy about using his voice, especially when he's excited, but it's all part of his charm. He absolutely loves going for walks, following his nose, and exploring the world one sniff at a time. When the adventure is over, Baxter is a sweet, affectionate boy who enjoys spending time with the people he loves. The most special part of Baxter's story is the bond he shares with his brother, Opie. Although they arrived at the shelter separately, they formed an incredible friendship during their time with us and have become inseparable. They bring each other comfort, companionship, and confidence, and because of that, we're looking for a family who will welcome them both into their home. If you're ready for twice the love, twice the laughs, and two best friends who deserve a forever home together, Baxter and Opie are waiting to meet you.
