Story
If you are looking for a professional true crime watcher and lap sitter look no further! Since you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for a new best friend and, hey, so am I! My name is Buddy, and I am an adorable, incredibly affectionate Dachshund who is also a very young 7-ish years old. I would describe myself as medium sized however my current foster Mom thinks I’m a little chonky. I DO love snacks and am very food motivated. She has said that I am very handsome, stunning with loving eyes and love kissing her and giving her all the affection and kisses. I DO enjoy baths and love the attention that I receive on spa days! I have a unique personality, and nothing makes me happier than seeing someone reach for a leash and or lead to take me outside for a walk or just to play and roll in the grass. I am still working on my leash manners and I foresee in time, being able to be more patient and allow you to keep up with me. I have enjoyed roaming in the fenced in yard and smelling the roses, literally. I am happy to load up into the vehicle and go for rides. I love looking out the windows and sight seeing!During the day, while my foster folks are at work, I am happy to lay around my open crate in the same room with my foster sister while we wait for them to come home. I am learning to not jump when we get company or someone comes over due to my excitement and will, with patience, learn to be calmer. I slept in the crate at night a couple of times, but my foster mom got lonely, so I got in bed with her and my foster sister (she is 70 pounds! Talk about chonky!).I do seem to get along well with other dogs and recently went for a nail trim and there were several dogs there to meet and greet, and we all seemed to like each other and get along. The groomer and I bonded instantly, and I do make friends quickly. I am interested in the cat here, where I stay, but she doesn’t like me…you know how uppity some cats can be. I think my ideal human(s) would be either a quiet older person or a retired couple who could devote their time to me. I bond strongly with my special person and am looking for someone who can be home with me, and we can solve true crime shows together. I don’t care for sudden movements or loud noises and will be discerning about new people, so I don’t think that I would like to be around small children. I think that small people and their energy may be overwhelming to me, but I hear that’s typical for pups like me. I am a very smart boy who prefers routine and will alert (bark) when I want to go outside to potty or just get out of the house, of course I know that a treat is coming when I’ve been a “good boy”. So, what do you say? Wanna give it a try? I really need a bestie and someone to watch TV with. Please reach out soon!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Ziggy is a charming, sweet 4-year-old Chiweenie. She is initially timid but blossoms into an affectionate companion once she feels safe.Potential adopters should know she is still working on being fully house-trained and needs to be kept in the same room as her people to prevent accidents. She has been trained to use pee pads. She is crate trained.Ziggy is not a well-socialized dog, so she isn't warm and friendly with dogs she doesn't know.Above all, Ziggy is a LOVES to cuddle. If you're looking for a companion to curl up with for hours, she is more than happy to oblige. She is seeking a patient and loving owner who can provide the attention, structure, and activity she needs to flourish. In return, she promises to be a devoted, sweet, and happy friend for life.

Story
Peanut has a big dog personality and if he sees other dogs, he gets super excited, and the yipping sounds scary, but he just wants to play!! He's a nipper and he likes to jump on you out of excitement and although he LOVES kids, he should be in.a home with older kids Peanut is still young, and has plenty of energy to play and run.He has been known to be a runner- He will take off and think, it's a GAME and it will be hard to catch him, so careful at the doors nd fences ;) But smart sweet pup loves kisses and lay on your lap . He walks good on a leash i put 2 one on harness and collar since I don't want him to get loose. (harnesses are too easy to get out of, so a martingale collar is his best collar) He can upset a bigger or smaller dog if they don't have a tolerance for nippiness. In the face kinda of thing he loved to play and he runs super fast lol 😆 they would have to be extra careful that he never gets out of front.Door or takes off he laughing fast 😅 Poor little guy almost got run over on these big streets all alone, and we NEVER want that to happen to him again. So now you know more about the firecracker named Peanut. He is a doll!! ADOPT....DON'T SHOP!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes tranport to your area)

Story
Greetings, Muggles! My name is Sphynxee, but around here they sometimes call me Dobby's long-lost cousin because of my adorable oversized ears. Seriously, if you've ever wanted your very own house elf, I might be the next best thing! My foster family believes I spent most of my life outdoors, so the magical world of living inside a house has been a brand-new adventure. At first, things like couches, crates, and all the strange human routines seemed as mysterious as the Room of Requirement. But I'm a clever witch-in-training and have been learning quickly! I've already mastered my crate, walk beautifully on a leash, and absolutely love exploring every corner of my kingdom. I'm still studying advanced spells like potty training and figuring out which treasures are acceptable chew toys and which ones belong to my humans. Progress, not perfection! One thing is certain: I've fully embraced my inner princess. These days you'll find me proudly strutting through the house, ears bouncing, following my favorite people from room to room to make sure no magical adventures happen without me. I get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and am great with kids too. Whether it's joining the pack for playtime or soaking up attention from my humans, I'm happiest when surrounded by friends. When I first arrived, I had some hair loss that made me look a little less magical than I felt, but after treatment my beautiful coat is growing back nicely. Every day I become a little more fabulous—and trust me, I know it. So if you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion with Dobby ears, princess energy, and a heart full of love, wave your wand and say the magic words: "Sphynxee, you're home." 🏰✨🐾 Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area)
