Story
Meet Oscar 🐾 Oscar is a one-of-a-kind little guy who is part Dachshund, part Chihuahua part Pittie, part mystery, and 100% lovable! With his long body and short little legs, he’s basically a hot dog with a Pittie smile. 😂❤️ Oscar is super affectionate, playful, and cuddly. At just barely a year old he has plenty of energy and loves to play, but when playtime is over, he’s more than happy to curl up with his favorite person. He also does wonderfully with other dogs and sleeps like a champ in his crate. 💤 He’s mostly potty trained and is learning more every day. He’s also apparently pursuing a career in interior design—he loves rearranging the dog beds and toys to create what he believes is the perfect layout. 😂 Oscar does have a mischievous side. He LOVES food and may occasionally jump on tables or go looking for snacks. In fact, this little genius has figured out how to open Tupperware! We believe some of this comes from his history of food insecurity, so he’s still learning that he doesn’t have to worry about where his next meal is coming from. ❤️ Oscar is sweet, silly, energetic, affectionate, and just the right amount of naughty. He’s looking for a family who will give him patience, structure, cuddles, playtime, and most importantly, the chance to finally feel safe and loved. Oscar may rearrange your furniture, steal your heart, and possibly figure out your Tupperware… but we promise he’s worth it. 🐶❤️ Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
If you are looking for a professional true crime watcher and lap sitter look no further! Since you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for a new best friend and, hey, so am I! My name is Buddy, and I am an adorable, incredibly affectionate Dachshund who is also a very young 7-ish years old. I would describe myself as medium sized however my current foster Mom thinks I’m a little chonky. I DO love snacks and am very food motivated. She has said that I am very handsome, stunning with loving eyes and love kissing her and giving her all the affection and kisses. I DO enjoy baths and love the attention that I receive on spa days! I have a unique personality, and nothing makes me happier than seeing someone reach for a leash and or lead to take me outside for a walk or just to play and roll in the grass. I am still working on my leash manners and I foresee in time, being able to be more patient and allow you to keep up with me. I have enjoyed roaming in the fenced in yard and smelling the roses, literally. I am happy to load up into the vehicle and go for rides. I love looking out the windows and sight seeing!During the day, while my foster folks are at work, I am happy to lay around my open crate in the same room with my foster sister while we wait for them to come home. I am learning to not jump when we get company or someone comes over due to my excitement and will, with patience, learn to be calmer. I slept in the crate at night a couple of times, but my foster mom got lonely, so I got in bed with her and my foster sister (she is 70 pounds! Talk about chonky!).I do seem to get along well with other dogs and recently went for a nail trim and there were several dogs there to meet and greet, and we all seemed to like each other and get along. The groomer and I bonded instantly, and I do make friends quickly. I am interested in the cat here, where I stay, but she doesn’t like me…you know how uppity some cats can be. I think my ideal human(s) would be either a quiet older person or a retired couple who could devote their time to me. I bond strongly with my special person and am looking for someone who can be home with me, and we can solve true crime shows together. I don’t care for sudden movements or loud noises and will be discerning about new people, so I don’t think that I would like to be around small children. I think that small people and their energy may be overwhelming to me, but I hear that’s typical for pups like me. I am a very smart boy who prefers routine and will alert (bark) when I want to go outside to potty or just get out of the house, of course I know that a treat is coming when I’ve been a “good boy”. So, what do you say? Wanna give it a try? I really need a bestie and someone to watch TV with. Please reach out soon!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Moby is a 3 month old Dachshund mix that weighs 12.6 pounds.  We got him from the shelter where he was released by his owner.   What a little love bug he is!!!  Moby is still unsure about what is happening but he just wants to snuggle with everyone right now.  He is a puppy so his true personality will come out when he gets into a comfortable home.   He is a dachshund so he needs an owner that is familiar with his breed.  It would be best if he had a fenced yard for potty and playtime.   If you would like to meet Moby please fill out an application from our website.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 23, 2026, 6:40 pm

Story
Peanut has a big dog personality and if he sees other dogs, he gets super excited, and the yipping sounds scary, but he just wants to play!! He's a nipper and he likes to jump on you out of excitement and although he LOVES kids, he should be in.a home with older kids Peanut is still young, and has plenty of energy to play and run.He has been known to be a runner- He will take off and think, it's a GAME and it will be hard to catch him, so careful at the doors nd fences ;) But smart sweet pup loves kisses and lay on your lap . He walks good on a leash i put 2 one on harness and collar since I don't want him to get loose. (harnesses are too easy to get out of, so a martingale collar is his best collar) He can upset a bigger or smaller dog if they don't have a tolerance for nippiness. In the face kinda of thing he loved to play and he runs super fast lol 😆 they would have to be extra careful that he never gets out of front.Door or takes off he laughing fast 😅 Poor little guy almost got run over on these big streets all alone, and we NEVER want that to happen to him again. So now you know more about the firecracker named Peanut. He is a doll!! ADOPT....DON'T SHOP!! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Our Adorable Little LOWRIDER! Mint is a handsome, happy, playful boy who got a second chance thanks to a kind Samaritan who found his mama living under a tree. Mama had even dug a little hole to keep her babies safe—and that’s how this sweet boy got his gardening-herb name! Mint’s foster mama says he is a sweet, high-energy love bug who is always ready for fun, playtime, and cuddles. He loves everyone! Kids, other dogs, toys, and adventures are all totally his jam. His mama appears to be a Lab mix, but since Mint and his siblings look a little different, we’re not exactly sure what breeds make up this adorable crew. We do have a pretty good suspicion that Mint has some Dachshund mixed in! This little guy is wonderfully low and long, giving him that irresistible lowrider look. Whatever his mix may be, one thing is certain—Mint is ridiculously cute, full of personality, and ready for a forever family! If you’re looking for a fun-loving pup with a big personality and an extra-low ride, Mint may be your guy! Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)
