Name: Eugene Age: 7 years Breed: chi/doxie mix Gender: male Weight: 11 lbs Good with kids: has had limited exposure but is pretty nervous. Older kids if any would be best Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: If tail wagging love bugs are your thing, Eugene’s got your number! (Or at least, he will if you submit that app!)  Eugene was secured after wandering in Illinois, and found himself in a shelter with a high volume of intakes. We were excited to get this sweet guy into rescue, and watch him blossom in his foster home. He has been the quietest member of the household so far, and does amazing with the small dogs he is fostered with. Eugene is nervous meeting new folks, but patience and reassurance are key. He has not been growly, just very shy.  He takes a smidge longer (as in a day or two) to warm up to men, but will brave making their acquaintance with reassurance from a person he is comfortable with.  Eugene does very well in the car, and walks well on a leash- though he does occasionally pause to ensure you are with him every step of the way. He is working hard on house training, but has been wearing a belly band indoors. He will occasionally pick up a toy, but is just as happy to lay on a dog bed or sit on the couch with his person. Eugene enjoys the outdoors, and is happy to lounge in the yard or on the deck with his humans. He kennels easily, and sleeps all night. More than just a cute face, Eugene is an absolute gem! Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not require you to adopt the dog of interest, if it is not a match.June 13, 2026, 9:14 am

Story
Meet Katie B! This adorable girl has already come such a long way and continues to make progress every single day. While she may be shy at first, underneath that timid exterior is a sweet dog who truly wants to please and is learning how wonderful life with people can be. Katie B settles down nicely in her kennel or will quietly find a cozy place to relax. She is still learning how to walk on a leash and doesn’t fully understand commands yet, but her house manners are coming along very well. She’s the kind of dog who learns best with patience, consistency, and gentle encouragement. Katie B gets along well with other dogs and has shown no negative reactions to cats. Children should be fine for her as long as they understand to give her space and allow her to come to them on her own terms. She can be nervous about cuddling at first, but she has made incredible progress. Once she settles onto your lap, she relaxes and truly enjoys attention and gentle petting. She does tend to “start over” with new people and needs a little time to feel safe again, but she warms up faster as her confidence grows. Right now, Katie B is still learning how to play and discover what it means to simply be a dog. Watching her progress has been incredibly rewarding, and her little victories make her even more special. She came to us on the higher end of the semi-feral scale, but with patience and love she has already made tremendous strides and is now much more comfortable with people. Katie B will thrive in a calm, low-energy home with a patient, dog-savvy family willing to continue helping her build confidence. The family lucky enough to earn her trust will gain an incredibly rewarding companion and watch a beautiful transformation unfold.
