Story
Meet Ginger AKA Aphrodite! 🐾❤️ She is an absolutely wonderful dog with the funniest, goofiest personality! She has a true cartoon-character charm about her, especially when she's excited and one ear goes up while the other stays down. She's affectionate, lovable, cuddly, and just an all-around great girl. Ginger is house trained and very well behaved in the home. She has free roam of the house and does wonderfully. She's also comfortable in her crate and will even go in on her own to relax, happily staying there with the door open. This girl LOVES her people. She enjoys cuddling, belly rubs, and being petted and has happily slept next to her 14-year-old foster brother. She's not overly attached to just one person and is happy to spread her love around. She's also very friendly with strangers, although she did become unsure of one visitor who was wearing a football helmet, a pretty unusual sight from her perspective! Ginger has done extremely well with children over the age of 8. She can get excited and may pop up on her hind legs when greeting someone, but she has shown no biting behavior. She's a smart girl who listens well and has some basic training. She doesn't bark much, although she may bark at other dogs. She is still working on her leash manners and can pull very strongly at the beginning of a walk. After about a half mile, though, she settles in and walks much more nicely. She absolutely loves sniffing and exploring, especially through tall grass. And if you mention a car ride or a walk? Get ready! Ginger gets so excited that she'll spin in circles because she knows something fun is about to happen. Ginger has had some human food in the past and can be a little particular about her dog food. Her foster has found that mixing it with a little dog-safe chicken broth helps encourage her to eat. Funny, goofy, affectionate, cuddly, smart, and full of personality, Ginger is the kind of dog who will keep you smiling while happily snuggling up beside you. She's already a wonderful companion and is ready to find a family who will love her as much as she deserves.

Story
Katie B. has come such a long way since entering foster care , and watching her confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding! This sweet girl is learning to trust, relax, have fun, and discover just how wonderful life with people can be. Katie B. can still be a little shy when meeting new people, but she is making progress every day. She may need some time to feel comfortable and can seem like she has to “start over” with new people, but she is learning that people can be trusted. Once she feels safe, she loves attention and gentle pets. She will even jump up beside you when she’s in the mood for some affection! She also enjoys her independence and is perfectly happy sitting quietly by herself and taking in the world around her. At other times, she wants to be right next to you getting pets. Seeing her choose to seek out affection on her own is just one of the many little victories that makes Katie B. so special. Katie B. lives with other dogs in her foster home and does very well with most dogs. She seems comfortable with dogs of various sizes as long as they aren't overly threatening or intimidating. She especially enjoys hanging out with her foster dog friend Winnie and is doing her very best to learn how to be a “dog” alongside her! 🥰 And one of Katie B.'s favorite things? Car rides! She loves getting out and about and experiencing new things with her foster family. She settles nicely in her kennel or will quietly find a cozy spot to relax. She is learning that life is about playing, exploring, relaxing, and enjoying all the good things that come with being a dog. Katie B. would thrive in a calm home with a family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her set the pace. Katie B. started her journey with us on the very shy, higher end of the semi-feral scale, but look at her now! She is learning to trust, learning to have fun, and discovering that she can ask for affection when she wants it. Her transformation is already incredible, and we can't wait to see what she becomes with a family of her very own. The person who earns Katie B.'s trust won't just be adopting a dog, they'll get to experience the incredibly special journey of watching her become the happy, confident dog she's meant to be.

Story
Boo is the definition of sweet and gentle. This lovable pup has a heart as big as her beautiful brown eyes and is happiest when she's playing, cuddling, or simply spending time with her people. She loves toys and is such a sweetheart that she'll even let her sister "borrow" them, although Coco tends to forget to give them back! Boo takes it all in stride and would much rather keep the fun going by chasing her sister around the yard or enjoying a game together. Boo is working hard on potty training and is quickly learning her daily routine. She's a smart little girl with an adorable smile, a loving personality, and an easygoing nature that makes her a joy to be around. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who is playful, affectionate, and always ready for a cuddle, Boo is waiting to meet you. She can't wait to find a family to call her very own.

Story
Coco is a happy-go-lucky puppy with a playful personality and just a tiny mischievous streak! She absolutely loves toys, especially if they're someone else's. While her sister is happy to share, Coco has decided that every toy belongs to her, and she'll happily steal them all just to keep the fun going! She loves racing around the yard, playing chase, and making everyone laugh with her silly antics. When playtime is over, Coco is more than ready to settle in for some snuggles with her favorite people. Coco is currently working on potty training and is learning her daily routine like a champ. She's a smart girl with the sweetest smile, soulful brown eyes, and so much love to give. Whether you're looking for an adventure buddy or a cuddle companion, Coco is ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of puppy kisses to her forever family.
