Story
Meet Winston — The Adorable Mini Shadow Pup! Say hello to Winston, a 3-month-old (DOB 10/24/25) heart-stealer who is equal parts curiosity, courage, and cuteness! This little guy (only about 5lbs) started out shy, but every single day he becomes braver, sillier, and more affectionate — and we are smitten. Winston is already catching on fast — he’s learning that potty time happens outside (what a smart cookie!) and he LOVES following resident dogs to see how real dogs do things. It’s hilarious watching him mimic their every move — from trotting after their tails to practicing his playful pounces! With his Lab-meets-maybe-Dachshund charm, big puppy eyes, and even bigger personality, Winston is ready to wiggle his way into his furever family’s heart. If you’re preapproved, message us! Or apply here: newleashdogrescue.com **$250 adoption fee** includes neuter, microchip, UTD vaccines & current vet check Come scoop up Winston before he learns all the tricks! ##2635364##

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on FEBRUARY 13th and arrive on FEBRUARY 14th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 1/13/2025 Dog Name: Freckles Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Mini Dachshund Mix Approximate Age: 1-2 years Approximate Weight: 9-14 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Description: Little handsome man Freckles was found hiding under a car, he was nervous and lost - cold and tired. The kind people who found him looked for his owners with no luck. To avoid a high kill shelter he went into a loving foster home. He is sweet and gentle when carried and plays hard like a puppy! He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids! He is crate trained and seems to be housebroken! We think he is a young adult - he has beautiful markings and the most precious short little legs! This guy will melt your heart and make your home complete!    Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. January 17, 2026, 11:28 pm

Story
Are you looking for the sweetest thing on 4 legs? Then look no further cos I am just a perfect, sweet pup, ready for my forever home. My name is Rosie and I am a 4 yr old Dachshund mix, around 23 lbs. I was found by a kind human while I was homeless with my puppies. The RTL rescue took us all in and got homes for my puppies and now it's my turn. I love everyone and everything. Sweet as a peach and just wanting a wonderful home with maybe a doggie friend. I also love cats and kids to play with. At the end of play time though, I love nothing more than cuddling up with my special person as the perfect little lap dog. I can be the dog you want and need, Don't waste any time... this awesomeness doesn't last long, there will be a stampede of potential adopters for me *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Meet Mikey! Nickname: Sally O'Malley "I'm proud to say I'm 50 years old. I'm not one of those gals who's afraid to hide her age unlike some of those other gals, and I like to kick, stretch, and kick. I'm 50, 50 years old" Fun Fact: Mikey enjoys being outside for a little bit, But get your shovel ready, because his precious tootsies don't want to touch snow. YUCK. Age: Golden Oldie. I may be an antique, but I am FABULOUS. Weight: 13 lbs Health issues: I can't see very well, and I can't hear very well. That's ok, my nose works fine, so I can find my dish, and I really didn't want to listen to you anyway. I'm a dog, not your unpaid therapist. History: Mikey was in and out of shelters for years due to his previous owner's health issues. She surrendered him recently and he made his way to us to help him find his final chapter. Foster home: Oregon, WI Activity level: Low Friendly with: Adults and respectful older children. I am curious about other dogs and cats, but am too busy snoozing to really do much socializing. Sleep style: I love a fluffy dog bed and lots of blankies. I totally enjoy burrowing under them for naps. Meals: Small batch freeze dried (rehydrated) and if you can spare any bacon treats, I am all about it! Bark-o-meter: 2/10 (I bark a little bit as I settle down to sleep) Shedding meter: 2/10 Fashion: I think I would like a Gatsby-esque suit and a fedora. Walk out song: “Wouldn't It Be Nice" by the Beach Boys. Wouldn't it be nice to find a soft bed of my own? Favorite season: Spring I think I would enjoy sniffing the world as everything turned green again. Best feature: My calm demeanor. Nothing fazes me! Signature Move: Leisurely strolls followed by relaxing time near my people — or calmly snoozing Loves: Being with his person, blankies, bacon snacks, snoozing Bucket list: Learning to use the internet and your credit card. He thinks Amazon would be a super idea! Did you know you can get blankies and bacon snacks there? This sweet boy deserves the world for as much time as he has left. His previous owner said he was about 18 years old, but he acts younger. He has a cyst on his side that does not seem to be problematic, and will be left alone. Neutered Microchipped Housebroken, but sometimes he forgets. It might be a new house thing too. Good on leash, but he likes to meander and assumes you want to follow. Does not need to be crated UTD on vaccinations UTD on preventatives Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $350, ($600 for a pair).Learn more about Albert's Dog Lounge, our mission, and adoption policies by visiting Albertsdoglounge.org. Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS NOTE ABOUT AGING A DOG: Aging a dog, based on looking at them, is unreliable and usually inaccurate. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality and their needs. Puppy - Under 6 months Young Adult - 6 months to 2 years Adult - 2 years to 8 years Senior - 8 years to 12 years Golden Oldie - 12+ years
