Story
Meet Lainey Lainey has been at the shelter since 1/5/26, and she’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close to her person. The shelter can feel overwhelming for her, but when she’s given a little patience and kindness, her loving personality shines.Lainey can be shy at first, but once you sit down with her, she melts right in. She’ll gently press her whole body against you, soaking up affection and seeking comfort. She loves cuddling close, enjoys being petted, and will even try to curl into your lap if given the chance. Even when she’s feeling nervous, she looks to people for reassurance — a true sign of how bonded and affectionate she is.Lainey is a sweet, sensitive soul who will thrive in a calm, loving home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your loyal companion, Lainey may be the perfect match.

Story
Meet CooperCooper is a fun-loving, people-oriented guy who truly shines when he’s with his person. He loves to hang out, be part of the action, and soak up companionship. His previous owner shared that he’s great with kids, housebroken, crate trained, and will politely whine to let you know when he needs to go outside. This playful pup has lots of energy and enthusiasm for life. He enjoys other dogs—especially dogs his own size or larger—and does well with them. He also knows some basics like “sit” and “lay down,” and rides well in the car (with a little whining at first).Cooper was recently adopted and returned because he was simply too much for the smaller dogs in the home. He plays big and bold, and while he gets along well with larger dogs, his excitement can overwhelm tiny companions. Because of this, Cooper would do best in a home with larger dogs. He may also chase cats, so a cat-free home is recommended. If you’re looking for a confident, playful, loyal companion who loves people, does great with kids, and is already rocking the house manners, Cooper could be your perfect match. Give him the right setup, and he’s ready to be an amazing best friend.
