Story
Pet is part of bonded pair. Milo is an incredibly loving, smart, and loyal 3 year old dog. I am rehoming him for reason personal to me. Milo needs some work in terms of training and commands. He is extremely excited to play with other dogs but is well behaved on walks. Milo is so loving and the choice to rehome him took long thought. This hurts me to do but I want him to have the best quality of life. I hope to find him a good loving home.

Story
Domino is a playful active boy and needs space to run. He is very timid at first but will be the sweetest boy once he gets settled. Unfortunately I live in an apartment and also have a very busy schedule to give him the attention he needs. He is very good with kids and tolerant to cats. Not sure about dogs. While on walks he does show aggression toward other dogs. He seems skittish around loud noises. He is an aggressive chewer and will destroy a large bone quickly. He is also a bit of a jumper and tends to jump when excited but seems very eager to learn new tricks. I have a kennel for him and also food and a few toys he hasn't destroyed yet.

Story
Pongo was adopted from a shelter 2 years ago his age is unknown. He is a super sweet boy who is very velcro and would be best with someone who isn’t working as much as I do and has more time. He is not the crazy energetic Dal everyone says they are but he still has tons of energy however he will match your mood if you feel lazy he will snuggle with you and nap if you want to run he will run if you want to snack he will snack he will not destroy your home if he is not exercised. He isn’t fully crate trained but is comfy with his crate gate open I always leave him roaming the home. Has sep anxiety since moving into a new home but since I commute for work i’m away longer and it is a new place to him. He eats Pro Plan Salmon he has no health issues that require meds everyday for the rest of his life. He has never had purine stone issues which Dalmatians are prone to. I prefer Dals/working dog experienced people for him. He hates dogs and has strong prey drive so no cats. Must be only pet.

Story
Charlie is a very sweet loving boy, I took him in a couple years ago from an abusive home and helped cure his anxieties. He is a big cuddle bug and has the energy of a puppy. I am so sad to have to let him go but unfortunately don’t have the space for him. Looking for a loving home for this sweet boy💓

Story
We rescued Aloa from another family when she was 8 months old. Shes been with us almost a year. She is deaf (or mostly). Aloa is the biggest sweetheart. She loves snuggles, she loves fetch and some playful wrestling. She loves her person who she attaches to. She is super excited to get outside and she loves walks. She is full of energy but then wants her downtime. She can go through grumpy times of the day where she'll growl and want to be alone. She does well with energetic dogs. She does not do well with kids. We have some very mellow kids and she will be super excited to see them and play with them for a little bit but then she gets triggered by everything they do or dont do. And this is the reason we must rehome her is because she has become so unpredictable with them and weve had a mild bite incident, and we have to keep her separated. If it were just me and my wife, we would keep her in a heartbeat. She would do well with a firm and loving adult companion with no kids.

Story
Nana’s hugs are unmatched, and she melts for belly rubs! She lovingly wraps her paws around your hand and gives you kisses. Nana is about 6-years-old, 50 pounds and looks like a Dalmatian/Terrier mix, or perhaps a cute spotted cow! Nana needs just a little time to get to know you, and then she’ll shower you with endless love and affection. Our staff and volunteers who have spent time with her can attest to her sweet nature, as she’s always ready for playtime and snuggles. Nana ideal home is a chill environment with a family that understands she needs time to adjust after being in a shelter for many years. She’s a playful flirt with male dogs, but may need some time to build friendships with new canine pals. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick who would also thrive as your one and only, Nana is ready to be your sweet and occasionally diva-like companion. She is potty trained and very neat in her kennel. You can follow Nana to see her personality on Instagram at @Nana__APR. To meet Nana please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org Nana is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue - a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
