Dots for Days Dirk was relinquished by no fault of his own. This is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people. He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 11/11/24 and he currently weighs 59#. He needs exercise and activity. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is heart worm and tick born illness negative. His adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Pippa is ready for adoption but is away at training camp! She will be released 1-9-25. We are hoping to have an approved adopter before she comes home from the prison program! Pippa is a 2 year old Dalmatian who will require a knowledgeable adopter. She weighs 42 pounds and has the personality of a puppy!   Pippa is sweet girl who grew up with little structure so you’ll basically be starting from scratch with her. She will require patience, positive reinforcement, and consistent training. Dalmatians are very smart dogs with a high level of energy! ‍ ‍ If you’re not familiar with the breed, please research before considering! Pippa is eager to be by your side at all times and will be your absolute best friend.  Pippa has previously lived with other dogs and would do best as only dog or with one dog her size or bigger. She does resource guard people and food. She does great in a crate and keeps it clean.  Requirements: fenced in yard.  No small dogs/pets/cats, ideally children above 5 as she doesn’t have boundaries yet   Apply at www.trackingintheshadows.com  Pippa's adoption fee is $200.  She is fully vetted for 1 year, Spayed, microchipped, & on monthly preventatives. Once approved, we will set up a day/time for you to meet Pippa.  Please be ready to take her home within 1-3 days after application approval. *We do not accept electric/underground fences. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Shuggie is an 8-year old Catahoula/Blue Heeler cross, who has lived with his current family since he was a puppy; now, however, his owners are relocating in another country in order to care for an elderly relative, and they prefer to find Shuggie a new home rather than move him around the world. Shuggie is a sweet dog and although he has interacted well with children in the past, he has not lived with children and he would do best in an adult home.  He also is too interested in cats and should not be asked to live with them.  He has lived with other dogs and interacted well with them. Shuggie has a bite history, which his owners say resulted from a utility worker's reaching a hand over the fence into Shuggie's yard, which took the dog by surprise.  However, there is far more to Shuggie than that one incident, and his owners say this about him: Shuggie is a high-energy, intelligent, and deeply loyal companion who's looking for his perfect match.This food-motivated pup loves nothing more than an active adventure whether it's hiking trails, long walks, or chasing after his favorite tennis balls! While Shuggie is incredibly loving, he takes time to warm up to new people and requires a patient approach to building trust.
