Story
The bestest senior boy! Some of you may remember Fjerda from a few years back. He’s a fluffy, lovable Kelpie mix. He recently found himself back with us due to a hoarding situation. He’s now 9-10 years old but still the same old goofy sweet boy! He’s house trained and good with dogs and cats!

Story
Molly is the kind of dog who makes you smile the moment you see her. With her bright white coat sprinkled with the most adorable black speckles, she’s as cute as can be — and her personality matches her looks. Young, bouncy, and full of enthusiasm, Molly is ready to take on the world one adventure at a time. This playful girl is always excited to explore what’s around her. Whether it’s a new space, a new toy, or a new game, Molly approaches life with curiosity and joy. She absolutely loves toys of all kinds and has already mastered the art of retrieving — balls, frisbees, you name it. A few good chases and she’s in her element, running with purpose and bringing her prize back for another throw. Molly is also a quick learner who truly enjoys training. She catches onto new tricks fast and is highly motivated by treats, which makes working with her both easy and fun. Training sessions with Molly feel less like “work” and more like play, and she thrives on the praise and engagement that come with learning something new. She has all the makings of a dog who will love having a job to do, whether that’s practicing obedience, learning fun tricks, or joining you for active outings. After a good round of fetch, Molly will happily dash back in for a quick moment of affection — leaning in for pets and attention — before she’s ready to head right back out for more fun. It’s the perfect balance of affectionate and energetic, showing that while she loves people, she also loves to do things. Molly will thrive in an active home with someone who’s excited to keep her mind and body engaged. She’s still young and can be a little unsure when faced with brand-new experiences, but a few treats and some encouragement are all it takes for her to bravely check things out. With positive reinforcement and continued guidance, Molly is going to grow into a confident, well-rounded companion. If you’re looking for a fun, smart, energetic pup who’s eager to learn and ready to be your adventure partner, Molly just might be your perfect match. Molly has been in a few playgroups at the shelter and has done well. To learn more about Molly, please call 812-988-7362 or submit an adoption application at the link below. After the application is received, an adoption counselor can reach out to you directly. https://www.bchumane.org/adoption-application/ GREAT NEWS—This pup will go home with a free training scholarship! These fun, positive reinforcement classes are available in-person or online and are super easy to fit into your schedule. It’s a terrific way to build a bond, learn together, and make a smooth transition into your home. *All dogs will be neutered, vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested, current on parasite prevention and microchipped.
