Story
Amira is a goofy girl who absolutely loves her people! She’s happiest when she’s right by your side—whether you’re doing chores around the house or settling in for a movie night, she’ll be there keeping you company. Amira does great with other dogs and kids, and she loves playing tug-of-war with her dog friends or proudly carrying a stuffy around like it’s her prized possession. Food is definitely one of her favorite things! When it’s time to eat, she gets so excited she’ll bounce all the way to her kennel like a little bucking bronco. She knows how to sit, and when you ask her to “down,” she’ll happily flop right onto her back. Amira walks on a leash and does well, though she can occasionally get nervous and put on the brakes—but a few treats and some encouragement get her moving again. She’s ready for her forever home and would do great as an only dog or with canine siblings. Amira is just looking for a family to love—and to stick close to forever. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport your area)

Story
My name is O’Malley. I’m a pointer mix. I’m 9 months old. I had a real ruff beginning till I was rescued and then joined Needy Paws and got me a foster family. I’m loving life now like no other!  I have a couple foster brothers and a foster sister that I get along with very well. I even have a foster kitty sister who I love, and I do play with sometimes when she wants to play. I’m fully house broken now. I’m crate trained as well but my foster mom only crates me now when I’m fed because I wanna eat everyone else’s food too. I’m good left uncrated because when I’m left crated my anxiety gets to me and I like to shred stuff. I’m all puppy so I have tons of puppy energy. I will need a fenced yard and a playmate. I prefer someone home most of the time but I’m good for a few hours. I’m pretty good on a leash. I just get overly excited sometimes and wanna jump on people.   My foster mom has really been working with me on that. I love everyone. I have so much love for someone who can love me back just as much.  If you are interested, complete the   Adoption Application   on our website at   www.NeedyPaws.org   and we will contact you.   Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. O'Malley's adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Story
Jamal is a 1.5-year-old English Spaniel mix with a heart as big as his long, lanky legs. This handsome pup is the total package: sweet, smart, and ready to be your loyal companion. He recently graduated from the Puppies for Parole program, where he spent three months learning all his basic commands—so he's not only housebroken and crate trained, but also eager to please and well-mannered.  Jamal absolutely adores people and other dogs. He’s super social, playful, and thrives in an environment where he can romp with doggie friends and soak up all the affection from his humans. While he’s got plenty of puppy energy to burn outside during playtime, he’s calm and relaxed indoors, making him the perfect mix of fun and chill. Jamal would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard.  He is an active boy and loves to run and play fetch, his favorite game. Jamal, would do best in a home with no cats.  He will chase them, so it's best he lives in a cat free home to avoid any injury to them. He would also be best in a home with older children as he can accidently and unintentionally knock the little ones down. Goofy, kind-hearted, and full of love, Jamal would be a fantastic addition to any home looking for a friendly, well-trained, and lovable companion. Come meet Jamal—he’s ready to steal your heart! Jamal has recently graduated from the 12 Week Puppies for Parole training program offered through the Mo Department of Corrections.  While in training he was taught basic obedience and socialization skills.  He has learned various commands such as sit, stay, paw, heel, etc … and has acquired his good canine citizen honor. Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌸🐾 Meet Shirley — A Soft Soul with a Big Heart (and a Little Extra Fluff) 🐾🌸 Shirley is a June 2023 baby, weighing in at about 60 pounds — though her ideal weight is closer to 50 (she’s currently rocking that “well-loved” look 😄). She’s spayed, fully vetted, and comes with what can only be described as an impressively solid resume for a family dog. Shirley checks all the important boxes: ✅ Good with other dogs ✅ Great with kids ✅ House trained ✅ Up to date on vaccines ✅ Loyal, loving, and well-mannered ✅ Professional belly-rub enthusiast At first, Shirley can be a teeny bit shy — the kind of girl who likes to observe before jumping in — but give her a moment and she’ll melt right into you. Once she trusts you, she’s all about the belly rubs, quiet companionship, and loyal sidekick energy. She’s sweet, gentle, and has a calm presence that makes her a joy to be around. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the center of attention — she just wants to be near her people, soaking up love and offering it right back. Whether it’s lounging at your feet, joining you for a walk, or quietly supervising household activities, Shirley is happy just being part of a family. And yes… she could stand to lose a few pounds — but honestly, that just means more motivation to strap on that fitbit and getting your steps in... together, right? 😉 Shirley is ready for a home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished — a place where she can finally settle in and be someone’s “good girl” for life. Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Shirley the forever home she so deeply deserves. 🐾💖
