WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Stella – Professional Snuggler, Part-Time Blanket Thief 🤍🐾 10 years young • 50 lbs • German Shorthair Pointer If you’re looking for a dog who believes personal space is optional and companionship is mandatory, allow us to introduce the one and only Stella. At 10 years old, Stella is proof that age is just a number. This gorgeous German Shorthair Pointer still has pep in her step, joy in her heart, and enough enthusiasm to power a small village. She’s the perfect medium-sized best friend — big enough for adventures, small enough to fit nicely on your couch (or directly on top of you). Stella’s life motto is simple: “Wherever you go, I go.” Need a walking buddy? She’s ready. Going for a car ride? Shotgun is her seat. Just trying to sit on the couch? Perfect — she’ll be there in 0.3 seconds. She is what we lovingly call a Grade-A Velcro Dog. If loyalty were an Olympic sport, Stella would have a gold medal, a parade, and her face on a cereal box. Her adorable highlights: • House trained (no indoor oopsies!) • Crate trained like a champ • Walks nicely on a leash • Wonderful with other dogs • Loves every human she’s ever met • Expert-level cuddler • Olympic gold medalist in burrowing under blankets Speaking of blankets… Stella takes her snuggle game VERY seriously. She doesn’t just sleep under covers — she disappears into them like a cozy little pointer burrito. If you’ve ever wanted a dog-shaped heating pad for your feet, congratulations, she’s your girl. Being a classic GSP, Stella does have a natural prey drive, so she’s not a match for homes with cats. She can also have a touch of anxiety, which really just means she thrives with someone who’s home often and enjoys having a devoted shadow. (Good luck going to the bathroom alone ever again.) Stella was surrendered through no fault of her own when her previous family didn’t have the time she deserves. Now she’s ready for a fresh start — with people who will love her, include her, and appreciate just how special she is. What she’s dreaming of: • A home where she can be part of the daily routine • A comfy couch and plenty of blankets • Walks, love, and more love • A human who appreciates a dog that sticks to them like glue If you’re a fan of the GSP breed and want a sweet, affectionate, loyal best friend who will happily follow you to the ends of the earth (or at least to the fridge), Stella is ready to audition for the role. Fill out her adoption application and give her the second chance she deserves. She promises to repay you in kisses, cuddles, and lifetime loyalty. 💛🐾

Story
Napolean is polka-dotted perfection! He is friendly, goofy, and sweet as sugar (without the negative health effects ;)). He has never met a stranger and will make a rock-solid family pup! Part of the fun of adopting a puppy from an animal rescue is the surprise that comes along with their growth. Their size at adulthood is simply a guess and cannot be guaranteed. When you adopt a puppy from GPG, we trust that you will love and care for this animal regardless of their actual adult size and physical appearance. If you are interested in a meet and greet for adoption for Napolean, please fill out an application on our website at www.gatewaypets.org/adopt. If you are interested in learning more about Napolean or the adoption process at GPG, please email placement@gatewaypets.org All of our dogs and cats will be micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption. For more photos of Napolean, follow us on Facebook Gateway Pet Guardians and Instagram @gatewaypets ... #gpgNapolean. To view other adoptable pets from our shelter, please visit, www.gatewaypets.org/adopt Gateway Pet Guardians is proud to offer a variety of mixed breed dogs available for adoption. However, please keep in mind that we rarely know the genetic background of the animals we rescue and, as such, we cannot guarantee the exact breed combinations found within this dog. Therefore, we do not know his/her actual genetic makeup. Just know that this dog is probably a variety of several different breeds that have combined to create one very amazing and unique animal.

Charlie’s only issue is that he does not like other dogs so he will need to go to a home with no other pets. Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Story
My name is O’Malley. I’m a pointer mix. I’m 9 months old. I had a real ruff beginning till I was rescued and then joined Needy Paws and got me a foster family. I’m loving life now like no other!  I have a couple foster brothers and a foster sister that I get along with very well. I even have a foster kitty sister who I love, and I do play with sometimes when she wants to play. I’m fully house broken now. I’m crate trained as well but my foster mom only crates me now when I’m fed because I wanna eat everyone else’s food too. I’m good left uncrated because when I’m left crated my anxiety gets to me and I like to shred stuff. I’m all puppy so I have tons of puppy energy. I will need a fenced yard and a playmate. I prefer someone home most of the time but I’m good for a few hours. I’m pretty good on a leash. I just get overly excited sometimes and wanna jump on people.   My foster mom has really been working with me on that. I love everyone. I have so much love for someone who can love me back just as much.  If you are interested, complete the   Adoption Application   on our website at   www.NeedyPaws.org   and we will contact you.   Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. O'Malley's adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Story
Jamal is a 1.5-year-old English Spaniel mix with a heart as big as his long, lanky legs. This handsome pup is the total package: sweet, smart, and ready to be your loyal companion. He recently graduated from the Puppies for Parole program, where he spent three months learning all his basic commands—so he's not only housebroken and crate trained, but also eager to please and well-mannered.  Jamal absolutely adores people and other dogs. He’s super social, playful, and thrives in an environment where he can romp with doggie friends and soak up all the affection from his humans. While he’s got plenty of puppy energy to burn outside during playtime, he’s calm and relaxed indoors, making him the perfect mix of fun and chill. Jamal would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard.  He is an active boy and loves to run and play fetch, his favorite game. Jamal, would do best in a home with no cats.  He will chase them, so it's best he lives in a cat free home to avoid any injury to them. He would also be best in a home with older children as he can accidently and unintentionally knock the little ones down. Goofy, kind-hearted, and full of love, Jamal would be a fantastic addition to any home looking for a friendly, well-trained, and lovable companion. Come meet Jamal—he’s ready to steal your heart! Jamal has recently graduated from the 12 Week Puppies for Parole training program offered through the Mo Department of Corrections.  While in training he was taught basic obedience and socialization skills.  He has learned various commands such as sit, stay, paw, heel, etc … and has acquired his good canine citizen honor. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 18, 2026, 6:24 pm
