Story
Tuesday is brought to you by the letter &#34A&#34... for Athena! Athena may be a little shy at first, but once she gets comfortable she turns into one big ball of cuteness. She&#39s a Halloween baby , but there&#39s absolutely nothing spooky about this girl! Athena is a 32 lb Pyrenees Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with the coolest coat and beautiful dark features. And her tail? Definitely my favorite part--she hasn&#39t quite grown into it yet and it&#39s adorable. She&#39s a great eater, does well with kids and other dogs, and is learning to walk on a leash like a champ. Her only &#34flaw&#34 so far? She drinks water like I imagine Beethoven would on the hottest day of summer. If that&#39s the worst thing about her, she&#39s doing pretty great! Athena will be ready to gallop (have you seen those legs?!) to her forever home on March 16th right in time to celebrate St. Paddy&#39s Day If you think she could be the perfect addition to your family, please fill out an application at http://Tinyurl.com/ammradoptapp or email Ammrjoyha@gmail.com with any questions! Copays vary by location. $110 reimbursement if adopters&#39 own vet/clinic is used within same timeframe for alter and microchip. All Mutts Matter Rescue is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible. *** Breed determination in most cases is often based on the limited history typically available for most rescued animals. We try to be as accurate as possible with the information we have and the rescue assessment of the pup. Current Adoptions are within 3 hours of our foster homes, most within the SJ area - within NJ/PA/DEMarch 10, 2026, 5:05 pm
