Story
Meet Libby! Libby is a 4.5-month-old Dalmatian puppy with a whole lot of energy, personality, and potential packed into her adorable spotted body. Surrendered from a commercial breeder because she is deaf, Libby has already overcome so much and is now searching for a home that understands and appreciates just how special she is. This girl is incredibly smart, active, and always ready for adventure. She learns quickly and loves having a job to do, but like any young puppy, she still needs continued training, structure, and guidance. Her foster family has been working on communication and engagement skills, and Libby is proving to be a bright, eager learner. Libby loves other dogs and currently lives successfully with both large and small dogs in her foster home. Because she cannot hear social cues, introductions should be done thoughtfully and preferably off leash in a neutral setting. Once comfortable, she enjoys having canine companions to play with and learn from. She also gets along well with cats and even pigs. She adores children and is affectionate with everyone she meets, but she still has a puppy's enthusiasm and can be jumpy when seeking attention. For that reason, a home with children ages 10 and older would be preferred. Because Libby is deaf and will require ongoing training using visual cues and positive reinforcement, we are looking for a family with previous deaf dog experience. Dalmatian experience would be an added bonus. She is not a good fit for apartment living due to her energy level and tendency to vocalize when frustrated. Libby is a fun, loving, high-energy puppy who will thrive with an active, committed family willing to invest the time needed to help her reach her full potential. If you're experienced with deaf dogs and looking for an incredibly rewarding companion, Libby may be the perfect addition to your family. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Apply for adoption at www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Adoption fee: $500 Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, Pa Kennel License #5152

Story
Meet Oakley! This adorable 8-week-old puppy is bursting with love, energy, and curiosity. She’s an Aussimation—a unique mix of Australian Shepherd and Dalmatian. Oakley combines the best qualities of both breeds: her striking blue and green Aussie eyes and her short, soft Dalmatian-like fur, beautifully patterned with a blend of both heritages.   With Oakley, you truly get the best of both worlds. She is incredibly sweet and outgoing, loving everyone she meets—no one is a stranger to her. Larger dogs don’t faze her, and she’s even growing up alongside kittens. When you welcome Oakley into your four-legged family, you can be confident she’ll get along with everyone.   Oakley is always ready to play and would thrive with an active family, especially one with an older canine sibling to keep her company. She will make a wonderful family dog. As Oakley grows, she’ll need a lively household that keeps her engaged, along with plenty of structure and exercise. If you’re a runner or hiker, Oakley will be the perfect companion. She loves being by your side wherever you go and wants nothing more than to be a true member of the family, with her loyalty growing right along with her.   Oakley will also thrive with a job to do and will benefit from ongoing training. Keeping both her body and mind active is essential for her happiness.   To learn more about adopting Oakley please email Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311.  Approved application and adoption fee required.  Oakley is in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.  Oakley will be ready to travel when she completes her vetting at the end of August.July 28, 2026, 8:23 pm

Story
MEET LEO!! Leo is an approximately 4-5 year old male neutered Lab Golden and German Pointer mix. What a stunning combination! Leo is tall, dark and handsome and currently weighs around 75 lbs. Leo is a dapper and simple kind of guy. He has a calm and gentle presence. He is past the younger dog chaos and settling into a nice stride. He waits patiently in the morning to take on life. From leisurely walks through property trails, a soulful display of comfort when petting him, to laying down on his cozy cot. His soul penetrating eye gaze as you rub his under chin that says, “Thank you for letting me be a part of your life.” Leo will sit there stoically as you give him a big hug and it tells you everything you need to know about him. He has been professionally trained to increase his likelihood of being adopted. He appreciates a system of communication as he navigates the world that once misunderstood him. He just needed the right team in his corner. Prior to training he would get over excited around dogs or squirrels for example. Now he is capable of calm leash walking and experiencing the world. He has proven he really is a simple kind of dog that deserves a simple kind of life. Leo is both house and crate trained. Leo does great with female dogs around his size but his prey drive seems to strong for small dogs and cats. Leo is a very intelligent and stunning guy who is looking for his forever family to take him on the adventure of life and be has loyal as he is ❤️❤️❤️ If interested please contract Christine at christine@therescueexpress.org
