**We adopt our dogs to families within 60 miles of Grants Pass, Oregon. All applications are screened for compatibility with the dog of interest. We will ask for pictures of your home and yard. MacKenzie is a 45 pound, healthy 1 year old Dalmatian Mix. (DNA tested) He is neutered and vaccinated and ready for his forever home. He is smart and funny and loyal. MacKenzie is very sweet and loves to play with other dogs. He's been around dog-friendly cats without any issues. He is a very shy dog and needs to be adopted by someone who has the time and interest in helping him adjust to new environments and new people. He is not aggressive. He is just shy and under-socialized. A person or family that doesn't need a dog to go out to new places often and who has a steady circle of friends would be great. He walks nicely on leash and is good in the car. He is an indoor dog. He is medium active and needs a yard to play in. He doesn't like being at home alone, so he needs a family where someone is home most of the time. MacKenzie needs typical supervision for a dog his age. He takes care of his potty business outdoors but he is still learning right from wrong about things on countertops, therefore he still needs supervision or a crate when home alone.
