May May

Dalmatian American Bulldog

Female, 5 yrs 1 mo
Harrisburg, PA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Introducing May, a resilient and courageous dog who has overcome great adversity in her life. For several months, May found herself wandering the streets, facing the challenges of survival on her own. During this time, she endured a prolapsed vagina, a painful condition that required urgent medical attention. Though people in the neighborhood attempted to help her, her fear and mistrust kept her at a distance. Fortunately, fate intervened when one of our compassionate fosters caught sight of May and recognized the urgency of her situation. With a clever plan involving fries as bait, May was coaxed close enough to be safely captured. Immediately, she was taken to the veterinary clinic, where she underwent surgery to repair her injury. May is now ready for a new chapter in her life, filled with endless love, security, and happiness. If you're searching for a quiet and affectionate canine companion who will steal your heart with a single smile, look no further than May. Come and meet her, and witness the incredible transformation she has undergone. May is waiting with open paws to bring joy and warmth into your life. If May May sounds like she might be the right match for you, or if you want to check out more of our wonderful pets for adoption, please visit to read all about our TN-based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and to submit your application The adoption fee is $300 and transport is an additional $200 This pet is currently in a foster home in TN and will be transported north after the adoption is complete. Dalmatian Hound (Unknown Type)

Female, Young
Dillsburg, PA
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Meet the lovely little Lilly! For being only 2 yrs old, this sweet pup has already led quite an adventurous life! She was found running wild & free in a field down in NC & a good citizen Vet Tech picked her up & brought her to a local rescue. She stayed there briefly before taking a plane ride up to PA & joining us at the Canine Rescue of Central PA (located in Dillsburg). Lilly is now ready to seek out more adventures with a new home & best friend. Lilly is very loving & wants to please but is still learning how to. Living a life on the lam for so long, left Lilly with a playful & energetic spirit, but lacking manners. She has now learned "SIT"!! Lilly is extremely smart & we think this is a new chapter for her learning journey! Lilly does exhibit prey drive and would do best in a home without cats. Given her need for more training, she should be in a home with dog savvy adults and only with older children. We are so excited for Lilly's next adventure! She has so much potential & love just waiting to be unlocked. We often throw on sunglasses around this cutie because her future is just that BRIGHT!! ? Lilly is microchipped, spayed & up-to-date on vaccines. If you are interested in adding Lilly to your family, please complete an application on our website:
