Meet our "Christmas Dalmatian mix puppies. They are about 12 weeks and were saved from a puppy mill in Lancaster county. They are shy right now, but are coming around to life outside of the mill. As with all dogs we save from puppy mills, they will need a family who is understanding and prepared to work through a period of transition with them as they learn to live in a house and around people. They will need time to trust their new family before working on training, such as house training. This should go without saying, but we require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY. This breed mix must have a home without young children as well (14+), and one who is prepared to provide them the extensive exercise and training they require. Dalmatians are a working breed, and not for everyone, so PLEASE do your research before applying. Each pups adoption fee of $750 covers their vaccines, microchip and spay/neuter. Adopt Poncho! This 3-4 year old Dalmatian is hoping for a home for the holidays!  Poncho is an incredibly sweet velcro dog who is eager to make human & doggie friends! He would do best in a home without kitties and dog savvy little ones if any in the home Poncho’s favorite activities include running, playing with his doggy pals, beetle dancing and cuddling. Given his high energy level and tendency to become bored easily, an active home is needed for this boy! Poncho admits that when he gets bored, anxious, or too curious.. he maybe chews on things he shouldn’t…. However, Poncho is very apologetic, gives the saddest, cutest “I’m sorry face” and asks for patience as he adjusts to a new environment and continues to learn   Poncho has been working on crate training and “crate command” as well as basic obedience. He would love a family to help him continue to work to be the best boy! Not everyone appreciates a jumping bean but he is treat motivated and happy to learn Poncho knows he’s not perfect, but will wholeheartedly make up for his imperfections by providing you with an immense and endless amount of love, smiles, cuddles, and laughs with his goofy personality. Benny likes country music and rides in the car. He loves walks in the woods and afternoons laying in the sun (like a proper hound dog). He is crate-trained, he is not a Barker, he is just a sweet, good-natured pup! Benny would love to find a family of his own! Message us for more info! All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Are you looking for the most loyal companion? Meet Dallas! He loves to snuggle, is the ultimate couch potato and he never wants to leave your side! Dallas was chained outdoors for his first 9 years of life. When his “family” moved they dumped him at the shelter. But that was a blessing in disguise because now Dallas is a house pet and after some adjustment, he’s decided this is the life!  Dallas loves to run and play with his foster doggie sisters and brother (although he did meet one male dog he didn't like). He was anxious at first (and who could blame him after his start in life?!)and even jumped a chain link fence shortly after his freedom ride. He is also able to squeeze under a chain link fence that has no attachment at the bottom. Dallas now takes an inexpensive daily medication for his anxiety and he is brilliant! He’s 99.9% perfect with house training, which is amazing considering he wasn’t neutered until recently and never lived in a house. His crate training is going well, he doesn’t love it but he does settle down after a short time.  He is fantastically smart. Being part Dalmatian, Dallas is nearly completely deaf. But he is such a quick learner that he is already picking up on some signs that his foster mom and dad are using for “come” and “sit.” The deafness really doesn’t faze him and since he never wants you to be out of his line of sight, recall hasn’t been a problem. He even comes with a deaf dog "starter pack" with a special tag, leash wrap, vibration collar and book. His foster mom even made him a Christmas stocking that he requests be filled with yummy treats from Santa Paws and festive bandana so he is ready for the family holiday photo shoot. His DNA test has been submitted and we are waiting for the results. Foster mom is a curious one so she submitted it, but is certain the results will be 100% goodest boy. He is surprisingly spry for 9 years old, he runs and plays with his 2-3 year old doggie friends and keeps up right along with them. He’s great on a leash and a nice size at 50 lbs. He loves people and kids.  With the separation and car ride anxiety improving every day, Dallas is ready for his happily every after! Dallas would love to spend his first holiday season off the chain snuggled up safe and warm with his forever family. He needs someone with patience and understanding but will reward you with immense love and gratitude for the rest of his days. It’s been amazing to see his transformation in just a few short weeks and being his foster family has been the most rewarding rescue experience yet for his foster parents.
