Story
Goober is the sweetest old man and I’ve come to love him over the past few years since meeting my now wife. He was rescued from a dog fighting ring in Kentucky in 2013 and we have had him for 10 years. He loves walks, jogs, and car rides and cuddling up on the couch for Netflix binges. He is crate trained and aims to please with everything he does. Goob is extremely healthy and in great physical shape. Sadly, Goober has issues with other male dogs that we worked to address to no avail. We have seen trainers, dog psychologists, vets, etc. One on one goober is an insanely loyal, loving, and gentle pup, but now that we are expecting our first child we cannot continue to accept the risks of my pregnant wife being caught in between a dog fight. He needs a home with no young children and no male dogs. We love goober immensely and It is extremely difficult to write this and ask for help, but we know it’s what our budding family needs to do.

Story
Hi there! I was able to adopt Berkley in WA state almost 8 years ago. Unfortunately my plan A,B,C and D all fell through and I am going to be deploying as well as my working hours no longer are able to support him. He is a sweet 13yr old who has some incontinence and needs much more attention than I can give him. He does well around other dogs as long as they have low energy. He is a sweet old man and I want to find him a home that can spend the time with hi. He needs. He does have some arthritis in his hips, but he still loves to walk and get out! I'm so sad to have to part with him but I know it's in his best interest!

Story
COME MEET VOODOO & OUR OTHER AVAILABLE DOGS AT OUR ADOPTION EVENT AT MAKERS CRAFT BREWERY ON MAY 20TH FROM 1PM-5PM. more info: https://woofgangrehab.org/adoption-events/ Voodoo was surrendered to us by a family with a young child who was very handsy and they claimed Voodoo did not do well with. Since we have had him, he has interacted with multiple children and has done wonderfully, even when they were not respectful of his space and boundaries. Voodoo is a 6 month old Dalmatian puppy and he is a true GEM. As his foster and a dog trainer for over 10 years, I have personally never had a dog come through that was this easy. In record time he has blown through most of his training program with flying colors. Voodoo is not your typical Dalmatian. They normally do not do well with strangers, kids, and other dogs. Voodoo has shown that he is well socialized to strangers, kids, and other dogs. He is very wiggly and loving and is ready for his forever family to shower with love and puppy kisses. He is a very special boy and we will be seeking a very special home because he truly deserves the best! Voodoo has potential for service or therapy work for those who may be interested in that type of training that we do provide services for as well. Please read about our rescue/rules and apply to adopt Voodoo at: https://shadesofbludogtraining.com/rescue/adoption-application/ View his listing page and to find out more information about Voodoo: https://shadesofbludogtraining.com/available_dog/voodoo/ Please follow Voodoo’s training journey on Instagram: @woofgangrehab @shadesofbludogtraining

Story
Fern is a 4 year old female. She appears to be a hound/pointer mix. She is a sweet girl who is good with other dogs. She is likely another dumped hunting dog, but she deserves to have a loving family. Fern got her freedom ride from the shelter and she is currently in foster in Virginia Beach. She is great with other dogs, but she has lots of energy and would probably do better with younger dogs than seniors. She will need an active family and a 6 foot fenced in yard where she can run! However, when she is done playing, she loooves to cuddle up right next to you. Please help us find this sweet cuddle bug her forever home!
