This awesome boy is looking for a new home! Juju came back into rescue after being adopted as a puppy 2 years ago. He is leash trained, fully housebroken and crate trained. He also is not an excessive barker and is past his chewing and destructive phase. He is animal reactive and aggressive but does pretty well out in the community but cannot be housed with any other animals. He is very smart and eager to please and also is very loyal to his people/person. Juju is 3.5 years old and is 70#. He is neutered, chipped, and up to date on all vaccines. Here is what his good friend Lori shared recently after an outing with this very good boy! 'He met lots of people today and didn't jump or pull or slobber on them, just let them pet him nicely. He walked loose leash (no pulling). Perfect in the car. Perfect in stores. Didn't bark once. We didn't encounter any other dogs, but he was literally perfect.' Well, when it comes to our sweet pup, the saying is “An Apple a day keeps your loneliness at bay!” Apple is sensitive boy who is looking for a patient family who will spoil him and help him continue to build confidence. Apple spent about six weeks in a foster home- here’s what we learned:- He is gentle and well- behaved when left home alone - He did well meeting new people - He loves walks and is non- reactive to other dogs when on leash- He was house trained overall- He is shy at first but very sweet Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Apple was shy in his kennel. We went to a yard, where he was running around sniffing and after a while his passing distance to me became closer and closer. In the end he once in a while accepted some petting. Needs some time to warm up and TLC. Very sweet boy.”Apple has valley fever and takes twice daily medications. He shares his kennel with his sibling and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup.If you can give the sweetest of pups the love and care he deserves, please ask to meet Apple today!!
