Story
Caspian is a handsome boy who was found as a stray and stayed with is finder for several days before coming to the shelter. They said that he did well with kids in the home and with small dogs. Here’s what his volunteer friends have said about him:“Caspian is a very nice boy. He walks well on leash and is always happy and excited to be out of his kennel. He has bursts of energy and a silly, goofy personality. He enjoys being petted and is just a very good boy all around.”“Caspian was a perfect gentleman when I took him out to the yard twice this week. He had a big smile and a wagging tail when I was in the kennel and leashing up was easy. He enjoyed petting and took treats softly too. Such a nice guy!”“I walk Caspian when I need a relaxing walk with an easygoing pup. He likes to do his sniffing and then has bursts of energy. Lately he has started to play bow a little bit! I really like this dog.”“Caspian was easy to leash and we went to a play yard. He was sweet and easygoing. He was sniffing around, not interested in treats but really appreciative of getting petted. He absolutely loves to have his face rubbed.”“Caspian was patient being leashed. I thought he might enjoy running around in the yard, and he did! After that we went on a walk- he’s young, energetic, and needs exercise. Friendly and affectionate.”“First time walking Caspian. He was calm in his kennel and very easy to leash. He walked really nicely with bursts of wanting to run and allowed petting. I look forward to walking him again!”Caspian shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been a bit social and mainly kept to himself when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Caspian today!

Story
Piper was the main character in the show Orange is the New Black…not that we`re comparing kennel life to prison life. I mean sure, there are some similarities… you spend most of your time indoors with a couple of daily exercise breaks, you don`t get to choose your roommate, and the food can be a bit monotonous. But, you don`t have to wear orange! In fact most of the inmates don`t wear any clothes at all, because, you know… they`re dogs. Also, you don`t have to break the law to end up in the shelter- Piper certainly didn`t! To top it all off, Piper can leave anytime- she just needs to find a family first! #FreePiperPiper was originally adopted through a rescue group and was in a home for about a year and half before first coming to the shelter in 2022. She was housebroken in that home and would politely bork when she needed to be let out to do her business. She slept at the foot of her people`s bed and they told us that she loves attention, and to run and play fetch. Her only request is that she not be disturbed while sleeping- a girl needs her beauty rest!! Piper was adopted, but her family is moving so she’s back on the search for her happily ever after. In her most recent home, she was described as affectionate, playful, friendly and cuddly. She was also housebroken and crate trained and reportedly did well with kids.Piper has been social, tolerant, and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She may do best in a home without small dogs. Ask to meet Piper today!!

Story
Bella is a sweet, sensitive girl who lived in one home her entire life before being surrendered to PACC. Bella reportedly did well with kiddos in her former home. She was unfortunately kept outdoors so being welcomed indoors to be near her family is a main requirement for her future home. Dogs are social creatures who want to be near their people! Bella can be shy at first but warms up and has tons of love to offer. She’ll need a bit of time and patience as she settles into a new environment, but we know she’ll thrive with the right person or family! Bella shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit.
