Hi there! My name is Baby Ruth and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I am a 2 year old male Doberman. I am sweet, shy, and a bit timid to start off. I enjoy lounging in the sun, playing with squeaky toys, and getting all the love you can give! Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission. Hope to see you soon!

While here at the the shelter i have made many fur friends.I love to be fun and goofy but i also like my quiet time and enjoy pets and cuddles. This is Ronan, he is about 1 1/2 years old, 57 pounds, he is a very loving and sweet dog. He is very energetic and loves people and other dogs. I’m looking to rehome him because me and my husband are expecting a baby soon and we are not going to be able to properly sustain his very active needs. We are looking for a loving home for him that has the space he needs and also an owner who is patient with finishing his training. He is very reactive and overly excited around other dogs and new people that is his main thing he still needs training in, but he is potty trained and knows a few commands and he is crate trained.
