Soanky was found in a hot garage in San Antonio. Left there with his sister, Wilma, a mama dog and eight puppies, they were left with no food and no water for over a week. The three adult dogs ate a leather sofa, trying to stay alive. Fortunately, we found them. Unfortunately, he has been waiting over three years for someone to see what a sweet boy he is and bring him home. Spanky is dog friendly, however, he would be better with a medium or large size dog for a friend, as he sometimes forgets he is a larger dog. Spanky does not have a strong prey drive, however, he does not seem to comprehend how large he is and would do better not around smaller animals. Spanky is people friendly and kid friendly, he is middle of the road energy wise (half athlete, half couch potato), he is very outgoing, and incredibly sweet. Will you bring him home?

Tango came into the rescue at only 5 weeks old. Her mama, and 5 siblings have already been adopted and only she remains, waiting for a family. Tango is all animal friendly and would love a sibling around her size for playing. She is older kid friendly (young children as well but due to her size and general goofiness she is more likely to knock over smaller children) Tango likes her people but does take some time to warm up; once she has accepted you she becomes warm and cuddly, while still maintaining her independent spirit. Tango is active, not hyper, and would thrive in a home that has adventures such as hiking, the beach, etc.

We are going to be downsizing and will not have enough space for her. Looking for someone who would like to adopt her as well do not want to give her up to the pound. We live in Lancaster CA, and it would have to be a pick up.

Courage is a handsome boy still searching for the right person or people to give him a fulfilling life. He was in board and train, and is now truly a well-behaved dog. He knows sit, down, stay, wait, place and come when called. Since he is a larger and stronger breed, he's looking for a family that can give him plenty of land to stretch his legs and give him mental and physical stimulation. Courage needs a confident handler that is willing to give him the proper amount of time to adjust to a new environment, new people and new situations. He is still working on socializing with people other than his fosters. Courage is available for short-term foster to adopt or adoption with a trial period.
