Story
Zoie is a sweet, friendly little girl with a little bit of sass. . She enjoys being outside, playing with a couple favorite toys, and snuggling. Zoie plays well with the other dogs in her foster home. She would be happy as an only dog, but just as happy with a playmate with similar energy level Zoie is not overly energetic, but would like a home where she can lay outside to sun or just enjoy the outdoors. She does well in a crate while her foster parents are at work; she eagerly goes in for a treat. This little one is currently taking Levitracem once a day to prevent seizures. She had a cluster of seizures one day in March of 2024, and again in September of 2024. Zoie has also recently started taking Proin due to occasional incontinence while sleeping. She has had zero accidents since being on the medication. Zoie is a one of a kind, unique little girl. Once you win her heart, and trust you will completely in love with her.

Story
Meet Ivy ! This shepherd, possibly Doberman, mid is a beauty! She’s approximately 6-8 months old is crate trained, potty trained, except when she meets new friends, she gets the excited pees. After a couple days of the same old people those go away! Ivy is great with all dogs, kids, and cats too! She’s an excellent listener and is very motivated to please her humans! She loves snuggling and is hoping to find someone who loves it just as much as her! Ivy would prefer a home with no adult men most of the time as they seem to scare her based on past trauma. She absolutely thrives in a home with a mom or moms and is great with kids, cats, and dogs!

Story
Meet Fiona, a 2-year-old Doberman Pinscher weighing about 53 pounds, serving equal parts elegance and goofball energy. At first glance, Fiona might give you a little “mysterious leading lady” vibe, but give her a minute…and suddenly you’ve unlocked her full personality. Once she feels comfortable, she blossoms into a sweet, outgoing girl who wants to be part of everything you’re doing. Folding laundry? Supervising. Cooking dinner? Willing to taste-test. Sitting down for five seconds? Excellent, she’ll be right there to cuddle. Fiona is house trained and does well with her routine. She tolerates the crate but would much rather be out living her best life with her people. She’s got a nice mix of playful energy and affectionate charm, whether she’s zooming around the yard, going for long walks, or wrestling and playing with her foster sibling. She absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys making new friends. She’s also great with people across the board, including young children. Her foster home has a 4-year-old, and Fiona has proven herself to be a gentle and friendly companion. She’s curious, happy, and always interested in what’s going on around her, like your own personal (very cute) shadow. While a fenced yard is not required, it would be a dream come true for Fiona. Fiona would do well in just about any home that can give her love, activity, and a cozy spot to land for snuggles at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who can keep up with your adventures and then curl up beside you after, Fiona is ready to be your girl. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Shrek is a 4-year-old Doberman Pinscher weighing about 65 pounds, and this handsome guy is proving that underneath that strong, regal look is a total sweetheart. He’s a gentle, easygoing boy who seems happiest soaking up affection and enjoying the simple things in life, like a good head scratch and a tasty treat. Shrek has been very sweet in our care and has such a calm, polite presence about him. He takes treats so gently, which is always a good sign of his soft and thoughtful personality. He also walks nicely on leash, making him a wonderful companion for strolls, neighborhood walks, or just being your steady sidekick through the day. We were told Shrek is kid and dog-friendly, though he has not been tested in our care. What we do know is that he’s been a kind, gentle soul who would love a home where he can be adored the way he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a sweet heart and movie-star good looks, Shrek might just be your guy. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. Story
Meet Dolly Parton—a 3-year-old Doberman Pinscher weighing 63 pounds, with a gentle spirit and a quiet kind of magic that doesn’t need a spotlight to shine. Like her legendary namesake, she has a softness about her that draws you in and keeps you there. Since settling into her foster home, Dolly has really started to show us who she is—and she’s as sweet as they come. She’s affectionate in the most tender ways, offering soft kisses and happily shadowing her people from room to room. She’s the kind of companion who just wants to be with you, whether that’s lounging around the house or joining you for a peaceful car ride (where she is calm and quiet the entire time). Dolly is a low-key girl overall, happiest with a relaxed routine that includes time in the yard, a good game of fetch (she loves playing ball), and the occasional toy. She gets along well with other dogs, and is friendly with both men and women. While she hasn’t been around children yet, her gentle nature suggests she may do well with respectful kids. She does prefer not to be crated, as it causes her some stress, so she would thrive in a home where someone is around more often. At night, she sleeps soundly in a dog bed on the floor but will never turn down an invitation for a little morning cuddle session on the bed—her favorite encore. Dolly has been diagnosed with stage 2 Chronic Kidney Disease, which means her house training is still a work in progress. She’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can support her as she continues to adjust and manage her condition. She'll need to be kept on medication and special renal food. In return, she’ll offer unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and a heart full of love. If you’re looking for a devoted, easygoing companion who will stick by your side like your favorite song on repeat, Dolly Parton might just be your perfect match. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
