He`s the sweetest guy just learning all about the world. So curious and inquisitive! He very smart + eager to learn and loves playtime with people and other dogs! If you are in the market for a goofy, gorgeous, sweet boy come see him in Brewster today!Marquis is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Marquis or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We are looking for a loving new home for our 5-year-old female Doberman Pinscher. She is house trained, crate/pen trained, very playful, and has had no health issues to date. She is a smart, energetic girl who loves walks, playtime, and being involved with her people. She does best with structure, consistency, and daily exercise. She is great on walks and can calmly pass other dogs, but she is fearful/reactive if dogs her size or larger approach her. She does well with cats, small dogs, and older children. She is also comfortable being left alone in a crate or pen.We care about her very much, but have realized her energy level is more than our family can accommodate long-term. We would love to find her an active, experienced home where she can get the exercise, attention, and routine she needs to truly thrive.

Meet Venus!Beautiful. Stunning. Flawless. No notes. A goddess in canine form. A blessing from the earth itself. A beacon of hope in dark, dark times because she's proof that good things can still exist in this world.Venus is everything.This lovely lady is about five years old and weighs just under 70lbs. She is a large lady but she's beauty and she's grace - no wrecking ball zoomies here! She's a polite, mild-mannered girl who understands the art of self-control. That doesn't mean that she's a lazy couch potato! She's athletic and playful and can get the zoomies like any other dog - it just means that she probably won't be parkouring off of the walls or crashing through doors like a military tank.Venus is good on a leash with minimal pulling and she listens well to redirections. She's a social, confident lady that enjoys attention from people and has zero qualms about actively seeking out affection or going up to strangers to say hello and introduce herself. She's smart, knows a few cues already, and is just an all-around good girl.As far as other animals go, Venus will probably too much for most cats. She's very, very curious - intensely so - and her curiosity will absolutely stomp all over the boundaries of most felines. With dogs, she does well...but almost seems not to know what to make of them. She hasn't shown any red flags, she almost doesn't appear to realize that they're even there until it's pointed out to her, and then she's just sort of like, "oh...what do you want me to do with this?" She's coexisted peacefully with them so far but meet and greets will be required. Kids 12+ because she was unfortunately found as a stray so we don't have any history on her.Breed experience/similar breed experience preferred!To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application.
