Story
Meet Ruby!Ruby is the kind of girl that you're going to have to work for. You're going to have to put in the time and effort for her affections. You're going to have to prove yourself because Ruby knows exactly what she deserves which is nothing less than absolutely everything. We love a girl who knows her own worth! Ruby is a four year old Doberman mix weighing just over 50lbs. She's a high energy girl that's going to need A LOT of exercise to keep her happy and healthy. She loves toys, especially balls and plushies, and is pretty good on a leash except for when she gets excited and then all bets are off. Strangers are tough for her and multiple meets to get her comfortable with you is going to be a MUST but once Ruby likes you? No one will ever love you better. Ruby does well with other dogs and would do best with a confident, outgoing pup that can match her energy levels but also knows how to disengage when she's had enough. She's very nonconfrontational and has shown that she'll choose to walk away over any other kind of reaction. She would do well with dog-friendly cats, but she's been pretty neutral in the face of a cat hissing/swatting at her. An adult only home with minimal strangers coming/going would be best to keep her stress levels to a minimum. Basically, Ruby is a gorgeous, strikingly smart, incredibly loyal girl that will completely devote herself to the people she loves.
