Story
Thor and I have been together since 2019. The foster family he was with before said they guessed he was born sometime in 2017 and he was found walking around on the hot concrete and it had roughed up his paws. He is a super sweet boy and I truly don’t want to rehome him, but I feel bad because I work a lot and he is home alone for hours on end. If there was another home where he could have more space and less time alone I know he would love that. He is always super excited when others are around and he loves to run, play, and snuggle. He is also very smart and I always feel safe with him around because he can always tell the difference between a random house creak and a concerning sound outside.

Story
Hey there, I`m Gigi, your future Hollywood starlet! Think of me as the Sandra Bullock of the dog world - charming, lovable, and ready to steal your heart faster than you can say `action!` I`m not just another pup waiting for her big break; I`m a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and spreading joy wherever I go. My previous foster family says I`m basically the friendliest co-star you could ever hope to cast in your life`s movie. When I`m not practicing my red carpet walk, I`m all about cuddles and playtime.I currently weigh ~27 lbs & may reach ~35-45 lbs when full grown. How did I get here? Found as a stray by a good samaritan.~My adoption fee is $120.00.~

Story
Toby Roby: 11 years old, 20 pounds, Miniature Pinscher This senior is a perfect match for a mature household that wants to pamper a little dog. Toby Roby is housetrained, crate trained, fine with dogs and cats (except when eating), good on a leash and overall well mannered. He does have 'get up and go' so if you don't have a fenced yard he would need several walks a day. Toby's adopter must be familiar with food guarding. This gentleman is good natured except around food and treats: he gets possessive, therefore no kids. He does not want to be disturbed. His foster writes, "Toby is a very sweet boy, but it takes him a little while to warm up. When it’s food time, he jumps up in the air until you set the bowl on the ground, then beware of approaching this little bugger! After meals he returns to his sweet self. " Toby loves to sleep on the couch pillows and going under the bed covers. He just needs time to adjust and enjoy his meals in private. Toby Roby has hyperthyroidism and will need to be on medication, but that doesn't slow him down! This dog is available and everything we know about this dog is included in the dog’s description. We are only able to respond to questions once a completed application is received https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/ . We do not respond to questions about our dogs sent through email or social media. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. Unless there is definitive documentation our breed and age assessments are based on visual appearances.March 3, 2025, 10:45 am
