Story
Meet Dilly – The Tall, Goofy Sweetheart You’ve Been Waiting For! Dilly is the definition of a lovable goofball! With legs he never quite grew into, a grin that stretches from ear to ear, and floppy ears that practically vanish when he’s excited, this big guy is all heart and happiness. When he’s extra thrilled, he does the most endearing paw-slaps on the ground — you can’t help but smile back! Despite all of his wonderful traits, Dilly has spent nearly his entire life at the shelter. We don’t know how he’s been overlooked for so long, but we do know that this boy is more than ready for a home of his own. Dilly has grown up surrounded by all kinds of dogs and does incredibly well with them. He’d thrive in a multi-dog household or with regular trips to the dog park. In fact, we recommend he go to a home with at least one other confident pup to help show him the ropes of life outside the shelter. This tall, lanky lovebug is also super smart and eager to please — especially if snacks are involved! He already knows commands like “Sit” and “Wait,” and walks nicely on a leash. With his curiosity and food motivation, he’s the perfect student if you’re looking to teach more. Whether he’s on a walk, playing with doggy friends, or just lounging around with his favorite humans, Dilly is happiest when he’s part of the fun. If you’re ready to give this long-legged lovebug the home he’s been dreaming of, give the Ranch a call and come meet Dilly today! While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
Meet Ronnie! Shy and gentle Ronnie is looking for a calm, patient family who will give her the time and space to build trust and grow confident at her own pace. She will need a home willing to work gently on her socialization with people, allowing her to come out of her shell gradually. Ronnie might be happiest in a quieter household with a nice, securely fenced yard where she can feel safe and explore at leisure. It’s highly recommended that she has at least one other well-mannered dog companion to show her the ropes and help her learn how to be a happy, confident pet. Ronnie has spent nearly her entire life in the shelter, patiently waiting for her chance to experience the loving joys of a real home. It’s high time she busts out and into the world, where she can finally know what it’s like to be truly cherished. She arrived at the Ranch as a slightly older puppy with her siblings Toni, Reggie, Archie, Dilly, and Midge. Many of her siblings have since found homes on farms where they’re thriving—chasing off coyotes and other predators with confidence. Ronnie might do well in that kind of environment too, with room to roam and a purpose to call her own. Because she missed some early socialization, Ronnie has taken a bit longer to warm up to people—but she’s made wonderful progress in a loving foster home filled with doggy friends. She’s already mastered walking politely on a leash, sleeping quietly in her crate at night, and enjoys car rides. With patience and love, Ronnie will reward her family with unending devotion and gentle companionship. If you’re ready to open your heart and give Ronnie the calm, understanding home she deserves, come meet her at the Ranch today! Story
Meet Pango! &#226&#156&#168 Looking for a happy-go-lucky pup who’s the perfect mix of playful, cuddly, and well-behaved? Say hello to Pango—your future best friend and ultimate chill companion. Pango is an outgoing and affectionate guy who’s always ready to make a new human friend. He’s polite, sweet, and already knows several tricks like “Sit,” “Paw,” and “Down.” He walks nicely on a leash and is eager to please, making him a breeze to take out on daily strolls around the neighborhood or adventures on the trail. While Pango has a mellow, easygoing personality, he still enjoys getting out and being active! He’d love a moderately active home that can provide daily walks, a little playtime, and of course—plenty of cozy cuddle sessions on the couch while you catch up on your favorite shows. He’s also a total social butterfly with other dogs and would likely thrive with a friendly female canine companion (or two!) to romp around with. And when it comes to kids, Pango is generally great with them—though he kindly asks that they skip the ear-pulling and don’t treat him like a beanbag chair (totally fair, right?). Whether you’re a family looking for a sweet, adaptable dog, or a solo adventurer seeking a loyal sidekick, Pango could be the perfect fit. Call the Ranch today to meet this good boy and see if he’s the one you’ve been waiting for! Story
Meet Dusty (a.k.a. Templeton)! Dusty is a gentle giant with a heart full of love and a deep affection for his people. This big, sweet boy recently found his way back to us after his former family, who clearly adored him, sadly fell on hard times and could no longer provide the care he deserves. Now, Dusty is hoping for a fresh start and a forever home where he can shower his humans with the same love he's always had to give. From the moment you meet him, Dusty’s warm, calm presence is impossible to miss. He’s never met a person he didn’t love—he greets everyone with quiet confidence and a wagging tail, eager to show off his gentle, well-mannered nature. Dusty is a polite pup who already has a few tricks up his sleeve. He knows “Sit,” “Down,” and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s also got great manners—no jumping, no pulling—just a calm, steady companion by your side. While Dusty would likely thrive as your one-and-only, he might do well with the right calm, independent female dog who respects his laid-back energy. If you're looking for a big-hearted best friend who's past the puppy chaos but still full of life and love, Dusty is your guy. Call the Ranch today to come meet this gentle soul—you’ll fall in love the moment you look into his eyes. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
