Meet Emily - this beautiful brindled babe is loooking for her forever home! She is a puppy who loves hard, plays hard, and snoozes hard. She loves her people, will follow them around to see whats going on, and will snuggle up on the couch for hours. Emily adores ear scritches, paw massages, and being brushed. Curious and very food motivated, Emily has been working on learning her manners and commands. She is great at sit, and learning crate, stay, paw, and off. While Emily would rather but attached firmly to a persons side all day and night, she is working on her crate training and learning that people do come back! She is also picking up potty training very well, she has started to let her foster family know when she needs out, and knows her outside cue words. Emily is great with other dogs, plays well and is learning things like boundaries, tug, and zoomies from her foster brother and sister dogs. She doesnt care about her foster brother cat and mostly ignores him. She does really well around kids, but is a puppy pirahana and gets excited to play which means nips happen, so younger kids will need to be supervised and taught how to properly redirect. Emily weighs 22 lbs at 12 weeks and based on the breed information we have, and her chonky paws, we think she will be a bigger girl! Probably around 60-80 lbs when fully grown. Meet Zelda 🐶✨ Zelda is a beautiful 1 yr old Doberman mix with a heart just as big as her ears. She was found as a stray and brought to animal control, but sadly, no one ever came to claim her. Thankfully, Zelda got her second chance when she was transferred into our care at Heal Animal Rescue. When Zelda first arrived, she was very thin—who knows how long she had been on her own, fending for herself. With good food, care, and lots of love, she’s come a long way and is now healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home. Zelda is a very friendly and loving girl who enjoys going for walks and spending time with people. She seems to do well with other dogs here at our adoption center, but we do require a meet and greet with any potential canine siblings to make sure everyone is a good fit. Zelda is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped—all she’s missing now is a family to call her own. He iscurrently being fostered in Houston, TX and can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Zee is a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely adores people of all ages. He has been wonderful with children, neighborhood kids, and even elderly family members, showing a gentle, intuitive nature as if he knows when to be extra careful. Though he can be shy at first, once he warms up his goofy personality shines through—he’ll hop like a bunny when he’s excited, soak up every bit of affection, and happily cuddle up next to you or sleep by your side at night. Zee loves outings with his humans too, whether it’s a car ride, a trip for ice cream, or hanging out with friends—he’s happiest when he’s included and getting attention. Zee has a moderate energy level and is an easy going guy. He enjoys playing tug, fetch (even if he doesn’t always bring the ball back!), and romping around the yard. He’s fully house trained, can be left alone with full run of the house without any issues, and is not destructive. Zee walks on a leash with a harness and is still working on pulling, especially when he spots squirrels, cats, or dogs, but he’s improving with consistency.
