When Bruce first arrived, he was pretty down and out and dealing with some skin issues that showed just how rough life had been for him. Thanks to care, comfort, and a little TLC, Bruce is now on the mend and feeling so much happier.Despite everything he’s been through, Bruce’s heart is pure gold. He absolutely loves everyone he meets and greets the world with kindness and trust. It’s clear that once he’s fully healed, Bruce is going to be the stunning, confident boy he was always meant to be—inside and out.Bruce is looking for a home that will continue his journey of healing, offer patience, and remind him every day that the hard times are behind him. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a resilient spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Bruce may just be your perfect match. 🐾💙Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Story
Sir Francis was adopted from the shelter about 8 weeks ago after spending three years with the same family. He is a high-energy goofball with a big personality. While he can be a little nervous around new people, he has never shown any signs of aggression toward humans. He previously attended doggy daycare daily, so he is very well socialized with other animals and would do best in a home with other pets. He sometimes likes to chase cats, but it appears to be playful rather than aggressive behavior. Sir Francis has a quirky obsession with reflections and a bit of separation anxiety, so crating him when you leave the house is recommended. When he is not busy playing, he absolutely loves to snuggles especially at night, when he prefers to curl up under the covers with you. He is truly one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet, with just a few lovable quirks that make him extra special.
