Maggie was rescued from Mexia. A woman found her in a cage with food on the side of the road. Upon our first meeting she was very skiddish and shy. She apparently was abused. She didn't like her feet touched and vaccines are still difficult to administer.I can mess with her feet in all kinds of ways in play now. She is very loyal, loves to chase balls and returns them. craves attention. Generally obedient. walks great on a leash has no issues with our 8 cats. She loves to wrestle with our other 2 dogs. But she has wounded both during play. She tries to be dominant. She has killed one of our chickens We can no longer have the chickens out at the same time. She loves to chase the small animals in the yard(rabbits, squirrels etc.) as well as any deer that wander in. But will not listen to any command once on the hunt. One of our dogs loves to chase the car when driving to the gate and she chases that dog and has bit and cut him several times. 51 % Doberman, 19% pitbull 10% cattle dog

Duke is a sweet, social guy, apprx 3-4 yrs old; potty trained. He's been tested staying lose in the home fine for short periods & done well. He is good with female dogs 45+lbs, kids unknown, no cats. He is a fun & silly boy who loves to play ball! He is crate trained & rides great in the car very affectionate, loves people! He seems well mannered & knows several basic commands. He has moderate energy. He was adopted from a shelter recently & adopter was in love with him but he has high prey drive with her cats and livestock so unfortunately it just wasn't a fit. Jedi-5 yr old male who is a sweetheart! Available for foster or adoption. He's great with other dogs of all sizes, potty trained, rides well in the car. He's currently on a weight loss plan to get down about 10 lbs but doing great! He is baby gate trained to the laundry room (instead of crate trained), loves to play fetch, has moderate to low energy. No cats. History of living well with kids 10 yrs old. He's a total lover & just wants to be close. No cats, and has never been around kids under 8 yrs. Sadly, he is the victim of divorce & needs a new home ASAP. Needs a foster but is also available for adoption. ■We adopt to all areas of Texas as well as parts of OK, AR & LA.
