Maggie was rescued from Mexia. A woman found her in a cage with food on the side of the road. Upon our first meeting she was very skiddish and shy. She apparently was abused. She didn't like her feet touched and vaccines are still difficult to administer.I can mess with her feet in all kinds of ways in play now. She is very loyal, loves to chase balls and returns them. craves attention. Generally obedient. walks great on a leash has no issues with our 8 cats. She loves to wrestle with our other 2 dogs. But she has wounded both during play. She tries to be dominant. She has killed one of our chickens We can no longer have the chickens out at the same time. She loves to chase the small animals in the yard(rabbits, squirrels etc.) as well as any deer that wander in. But will not listen to any command once on the hunt. One of our dogs loves to chase the car when driving to the gate and she chases that dog and has bit and cut him several times. 51 % Doberman, 19% pitbull 10% cattle dog

This sweet boy is Arnie. He is a large boy that loves to run! He currently has about an acre to run with three buddies and he likes water. He is a very food motivated boy, so we don't recommend a home with small children. Arnie is neutered and up to date on vacs and is crate trained. Fraya- Needs a foster but is also available for adoption. 5 yr old female, total sweetie! Good with cats & kids 7+, good w/ dogs of all sizes (but eligible to homes with male dogs only). Potty trained, loves walks, car rides, crate trained. A lover & a leaner, knows several basic commands, loves people! She lost her home when her lifetime family experienced job/income loss & tearfully let her go to have a better life. She enjoys walks, loves "her humans" deeply & is very loyal. She has moderate energy as in, she is up for whatever the day brings whether it be a walk, trip to the park or snuggling to watch movies all day. She would be a great addition to any home! Jedi-5 yr old male who is a sweetheart! Available for adoption. He's great with other dogs of all sizes, potty trained, rides well in the car. He's currently on a weight loss plan to get down about 10 lbs but doing great! He is baby gate trained to the laundry room (instead of crate trained), loves to play fetch, has moderate to low energy. No cats. History of living well with kids 10 yrs old. He's a total lover & just wants to be close. No cats, and has never been around kids under 8 yrs. Sadly, he is the victim of divorce & needs a new home ASAP. ■We adopt to all areas of Texas as well as parts of OK, AR & LA. Email us or submit an application online through our website.
