INTRO
Meet Violet, the class clown of the litter! This silly little girl is playful, expressive, and always ready to turn just about anything into a game. If you like a puppy who will make you laugh, Violet may be your girl!
HISTORY
Violet and her six siblings came to HART when they were just two weeks old. Their mama was surrendered with them, and she will be returning to her original owner after being sterilized, brought up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. The entire family has been fostered with toddlers, other dogs, and in a home that hosts guests regularly.
Violet was born on 07/10/2026 and has been raised in a foster home where she has had plenty of opportunity to grow, learn, and experience what it means to be part of a family.
Violet is located in Kennewick, in Eastern Washington. We share information about our dogs in postings based in other cities to improve their chances of finding a great forever home. She is well worth a road trip, and we encourage you to come and meet her before you decide she should join your family!
SOCIALIZATION, TEMPERAMENT AND TRAINING
Violet is our resident class clown. She is silly, playful, and absolutely loves a good game. She is especially fond of giving a dramatic play bow before taking off to chase you, making even the simplest interaction feel like an invitation to PLAY!
She is also a vocal little girl and isn’t shy about expressing herself. Her playful personality makes her a fun puppy to have around, but she is still learning when it is appropriate to use her voice and how to settle when playtime is over.
Violet is fostered with twin toddlers and other dogs, giving her experience with both children and canine companions. She and her siblings are working hard on crate training, potty training, and learning the skills needed to become well-rounded family dogs.
Violet is young and eager to learn, so puppy kindergarten and positive-reinforcement training would be a wonderful way to help her channel all that enthusiasm into appropriate behaviors.
It’s important to remember: Violet is a PUPPY, and PUPPIES ARE HARD WORK! She has sharp nails, needle teeth, boundless curiosity, and an impressive ability to find things she probably shouldn’t have. She will have accidents, chew things, pounce on your shoes, and generally keep you on your toes. Please don’t apply to adopt Violet unless you’re prepared for the time, patience, energy, and commitment required to raise a puppy right!
HEALTH STATUS
Violet has received two puppy vaccinations, 4 rounds of deworming, and has been microchipped. She appears to be in good health.
Violet will be sterilized as part of her HART adoption. Additional veterinary care, including ongoing vaccinations and routine puppy care, will be the responsibility of her adopter.
ADOPTION
The adoption fee for Violet is $425.
