Our sweetest Mama Demi is ready for her forever home! She was rescued on her euthanasia date, just hours before her time was up, from Riverside shelter. She was brought in as a stray to the shelter still lactating, skinny, dirty and estimated to be a senior mama. Although we don't know what her life was like before DC Dogos, we are so thankful we get to help write her future!  Demi is currently being fostered in Louisiana. She is around other Dogos and does tend to be selective, so slow intros to other male dogs are a must. She is great with children (as young as toddler) and all people. She does still get the zoomies even though it is assumed she is around 7 years old. She is up to date on vaccines and spayed and ready to go to her new home!  Demi really just wants a soft bed to sleep on and humans to call her own! She is availabe for adoption and can be transported! Please open your home to this sweet senior. Sometimes our seniors get forgotten when there are puppies available but you will not regret sharing this sweet mama's golden years!

Meet Demi – The Sweetest Mama Looking for Her Forever Home Our loving mama Demi is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family to call her own! Demi’s journey to safety was nothing short of miraculous. She was rescued from Riverside Shelter just hours before her scheduled euthanasia, arriving as a stray, still lactating, underweight, and in need of care. While we don’t know what her life was like before DC Dogos, we are grateful to help shape her future, one filled with love, comfort, and safety. Currently, Demi is thriving in foster care in Louisiana. She lives with other Dogos and is selective with her canine companions, so slow introductions to male dogs are recommended. She adores people of all ages, including toddlers, and will shower her humans with affection. Despite being around 7 years old, Demi still enjoys her playful moments and gets the occasional zoomies! She is fully up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, and ready to find her forever home. All she really wants is a soft bed to curl up on and a family to love her. Demi is available for adoption and can be transported to the right home. Don’t overlook this senior sweetheart! I’ve always been an outside dog but always wanted to be an indoor dog. I’m 6 years old, I’m very playful.
