Story
Please contact foster at christinesheth@yahoo.com Lucy continues to settle in nicely in foster. Here are her foster mom’s observations after 5 days:* Lucy is people friendly, including kids; she isn’t mouth or jumpy; she behaved well at the pet store and golf shop* Lucy is dog friendly and takes correction appropriately from resident dogs (see videos!)* Lucy is non-reactive to the resident cat (see videos!)* Lucy continues to sleep quietly through the night in her crate and keeps it clean* No accidents in the house when Lucy’s foster family sticks to a schedule and routine - she’s making good progress with potty training* Lucy feels safe in her crate; she will complain at times if she has to be in there when she isn’t tired, but she does settle so her foster mom can work (no signs of chewing at the crate or trying to dig her way out)* Lucy is affectionate and playful, with a calm demeanor for a puppy; she can entertain herself with her toys; no signs of destructive behavior* Lucy is easy to groom - allowed vet tech to trim her nails without issue and did not try to escape the tub during bath time* Lucy is easy to leash and walk; may pull at times trying to keep up with our resident dogs, but she is petite and checks in* No signs of resource guarding, and no skirmishes in the kitchen; we feed her in her crate; she is very food/treat motivated and takes treats gently* She is a good travel companion - quiet in the car and in a golf cart* Scheduled for spay and eye surgery on May 17th

Story
Ghost has been abandoned and neglected many times in his 9 years of life. I don’t think he has ever experienced true unconditional love. This sweet, gentle, playful boy is so unsure as to why. He is house trained, well mannered, great with kids, dog friendly, and very loyal. He is looking for his forever home. All he needs is a comfortable and safe environment. He enjoys playing with toys and being outside. He is a senior dog so his adopter will need to be sure they can take care of his needs as he continues to age. He is a healthy boy with some arthritis. He does like to play and run but for a short amount of time before he gets tired. He sleeps throughout the entire night and does extremely well being left alone. Ghost is mostly deaf but there has been no issues with him understanding things. He is an incredible dog who is looking for unconditional love!
