Spayed or Neutered,
Hello I'm Gus! A dog with a personality as big as my heart! Some lovely people have put some money toward my adoption fee, which is now $285! How awesome is that!I have been told I am the epitome of goofiness, always ready to lighten up your day with my playful antics. I am incredibly smart and am quick to pick up new tricks, especially if there's a treat involved, or even better a squeaky toy! I am a major squeaky toy fan, happy to keep myself busy squeaking my toys!My energy is infectious, ready to accompany you on any adventure! Loyalty is my middle name, I will stick by your side, offering unwavering companionship forever! It should be noted I prefer the company of people over other animals so a home where I can have all the attention on me would be the best!! I can't wait to lay at your feet... or maybe even in your bed! I am ready and excited to explore and navigate a life full of friendship and love with you!Me and my squeaky toys cant wait to meet you!-Gus Gus Primary Color: White Secondary Color: White Weight: 38 Age: 2yrs 2mths 0wks

Boxer Retriever (Unknown Type)

Female, 1 yr 6 mos
Toronto, ON
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Tessa and her 2 tiny babies were rescued from BARC in Houston on April 29, 2024, moments before they were going to be killed. They had a loving home, but their owner was taken to the hospital and his relatives dumped his dogs at the shelter. There was another dog, too, thought to be Tessa's mom, but she was killed. We can't save them all, as much as we wish we could! At least we were able to save Tessa and her babies. The photos of Tessa in her concrete cell, her head down body curled protectively around her puppies, might make you think she's guarding them from letting anyone get too close. Her facial expression doesn't exactly look warm and welcoming -- but the truth is, this mama is as sweet and affectionate with people, even people she's just met, as she is with her own babies. She's all sugar, and no spice! She had absolutely ZERO concern about having her puppies picked up and carried around by strangers, she just wanted to get a butt scratch too. We haven't known her for too long, but so far everything we've seen has been absolutely lovely. She's an amazing mama, but she's also super friendly, quiet in the house, playful with other dogs, curious to investigate new surroundings, and quick to learn. She was pretty interested in the resident cat at her foster home, but was easily redirected and seems to understand now that the cat is off-limits. She's already learning the house rules from her foster-dog siblings and loves being to,d what a good girl she is.Tessa is going to LOVE being part of a family, and we're confident she's going to be an easy, fun and precious addition to any household, whether it's with a single retiree or a busy, bustling family. We're not sure yet if she would prefer having doggie playmates or being the center of attention -- she'd probably be very happy with either, as long as she's not left alone for long periods (she hasn't shown that she has separation anxiety, we just know she's not going to like being by herself as most dogs don't). She seems to be somewhat dominant, so she won't be placed with another dominant female. She's currently in a wonderful foster home in Arkansas, and is available to join a loving household nearly anywhere in the continental US or Ontario. Boxer Retriever (Unknown Type)

Male, 2 mos
Toronto, ON
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Clyde is an absolutely fabulous little puppy who was rescued from BARC in Houston at the end of April, 2024, when he was only 2 weeks old. He and his sister Bonnie were the only 2 litter mates found with their mama, Tessa, who is a boxer mix and an absolute gem. All 3 are in a loving foster home in Arkansas, living with several other dogs and a cat. They spend their time rolling around together playing in the grass or on the carpet or on the couch or wherever they happen to be at any given moment, unless they're passed out cold from playing so much. They're getting loads of socialization and have zero fear people or other animals. They're a delightful young family of sweet, healthy, happy little doggies.Tessa is about 50 pounds. We have zero clue what kind of dog the puppies' dad was, but they seem to be growing up to be pretty big. PLEASE NOTE ORION IS A DIRECT ADOPTION FROM MEXICO. ONCE ADOPTED HE WILL GO DIRECTLY TO ADOPTER AND IT IS RECOMMENDED HE BE ENROLLED IN TRAINING CLASSES. We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: Orion Age: 4 months old Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Female Weight: We expect she will grow to medium size (35lb) Location: MEXICO (Everything, including transport is included in adoption fee) Adoption fee: $700.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Work in progress House trained: Work in progress Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes, good with dogs, cats unknown, children 6+ Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: None Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) A member of our “planet” litter, Neptune is one of 9 puppies who were newborns in our sister rescue’s shelter SOS el Arca in Mexico. Her poor mama was chained to a house and left by her owner. She was very fearful of anyone that would come around her. A neighbour broke the chain but she would not move and wandered the area. All the other neighbours around her didn’t want her there and began to throw stones and beat her. The shelter was told about her and found out she was very pregnant. They needed to trap her immediately, or her babies would surely be killed. They tried many times but she was so scared she would not allow anyone around. Fortunately, she did deliver her babies and there was the opportunity to take the babies so she would follow. Orion is a sweet girl who deserves to be in a beautiful home. The shelter is overwhelmed with puppies right now and we need this beautiful baby to come to us to have a life she deserves not one living in a kennel for months and months. Orion is a happy and playful little girl but she is a typical puppy who is energetic and mischievous, however, with training (mandatory with proof of receipt) she will develop into a beautiful dog. Her potty training has begun and will require work from the adopter, crate training and routine will assist greatly with this. Her ideal home would be one with or without another dog, a fenced in backyard to expend her energy as she gets a little older. Respectful children and someone who works from home, at least part of the day is a must. If you feel you would be the right fit for Orion, please fill out an adoption application at All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed. BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
