Story
Willow is a 1-year-old spayed boxer mix who absolutely loves people. She’s affectionate, goofy, and incredibly sweet; everyone who meets her, including vets, falls in love. She thrives in a home where she feels safe and can cuddle or play all day. Willow is looking for a special home because of severe dog reactivity and a history of redirecting and biting during high-stress encounters with other dogs. Outside of these moments, she is loving and gentle. She cannot live with other pets and needs a home with land or minimal dog exposure. I’ve worked with vets and behaviorists and have done training and medication, but I’m moving into an apartment where avoiding dogs will be impossible and my immediate family all have dogs. I love her deeply and want to give her every chance before considering euthanasia. I will provide vet records and support to the right adopter. Willow is truly a special dog who just needs the right environment to thrive.
