Story
Meet Dipper! He is in a dog trainer foster home getting the best care and is looking for a new forever home. -Good with other dogs. Due to high prey drive we don’t recommend him living in a home with cats or very young children. He has been doing training on a farm recently so getting more exposure which should help with this. - highly food motivated and high drive so easy to train. Loves to play! - medium energy level. He likes his walks and has done some running with his foster on the bike but doesnt need too much -walks well on leash. Does well in his crate and is house trained. He comes with two free training sessions with his foster mom after adoption APPLY: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/640228b201ef963f63061cc1/6515cd8205dcc125f2014396

BRING COOKIES. WE CAN BE FRIENDS! Hi, I'm Dot, Dottie, Doodles--they call me lots of goofy names because I'm a  goofball! I've been playing with the wonderful ladies at Winding Lane Kennels and, although I love them to  pieces, I'd really like to have my own family. They say that I have "stranger danger" issues, but I just require that new people bring me cookies! Think of it as a friendship offering and I'll be your new best friend. :) I've been working with my lovely trainer and she says I'm a quick learner. I DO love to please people. I like to cuddle, but at 60 lb. I may be too big for your lap. I get the zoomies ALL the time! Everyone cracks up and secretly takes videos. I love hunting lizards and bugs and will run off those weird-looking tree dogs with the fuzzy tails. So I would be happiest with a fenced yard in which to do my zoomies! Story
Prince Arthur is a dapper brindle 2 to 3 years old Boston Terrier boxer mix. Prince knows all commands and is housebroken.  He gets along with multiple small dogs. Large dogs not recommended as he becomes reactive. A Fenced yard & active family is a requirement.  Prince received a bear for Christmas. It’s his favorite toy. Every evening he puts the bear on the foster mom’s bed and then calls her by giving out a little wine/bark to “summons her “to the bed so that he can get on it and cuddle with her and his stuffed teddy bear.   The Basics Age:2-3 Weight:40 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccines Up-to-Date: Yes On Heartworm Prevention: Yes On Flea/Tick Prevention:Yes House-Trained: yes  Crate-Trained: no Leash Skills: yes  Medical: none    Likes/Dislikes Toys:Christmas Teddy bear  Other Animals: small dogs, as he is currently in a foster home with them. Does not particularly like large dogs and is reactive. People/Kids: gets along well with humans. He is not young child tested. He does like teenagers and young adults. Car Rides: like the car.  Separation: He is good in a room alone. But he does have some separation anxiety. He was a stray left to run around the city for a while. Now that he has found a foster person and a Foster home who could blame him for being concerned that it would all disappear again.   Contact/Application Info Questions? Contact Ann @ 813.431.8191 Current location: Hinesville, Georgia Adoption Fee: $275 Ready to Apply to Adopt? Visit www.bostonterriertn.org!   ##1854003##

Story
Almost Home believes that every animal deserves a loving home regardless of appearance, age, or physical limitation.  We have come together to give animals in need the safe and happy life they all deserve.  Almost Home Animal Rescue believes that no animal is expendable.  Adopting a friend:The animals, lucky enough to find refuge with Almost Home, are all in loving foster homes. If you are interested in the possibility of giving one of the animals a new lease on life, please contact us. The contact information is listed at the end of each biography.  What you need to do to adopt:If you would like to adopt a pet in need from Almost Home, basically, an application must be filled out. We will check two personal references and a vet reference. If you are approved for adoption, there is a trial period of about one week to make sure this is the animal for you and you are the person for the animal. Along with the trial period, a contract must be signed that basically states that if ever you cannot keep the animal that you must return the animal to Almost Home. Last but not least, a home check will be done. Meet & Greets:An approved application is required. This does not mean that you have to adopt but that you are approved to do so if everything works out. Since we are foster based, this limits the amount of people coming to our homes.  *Due to rescuer being very ill, all her dogs are in desperate need!!!   Kallie is a six year old, large boxer/Shar Pei mix that is desperate for a family to love. She loves the company of other dogs but sadly, cannot be left alone with them because things from her unfortunate past trigger a fight or flight response towards other dogs. She would be very happy to be your one and only furry love. She is absolutely amazing with all people and has great manners, keeping “4 paws on the floor” and sitting patiently for snacks! Because of her mature demeanor, we think Kallie would do best in a home that is mildly active. She loves to roll around and lay out on the couch but also enjoys walks with her favorite people! *Guest Posting**Due to Kallie's 'fight or flight' response towards other dogs, small children are not advised   If you would like to meet your new best friend, contact the Adoption Coordinator at info@almosthometn.org or 865-236-0830. To fill out an application, go to www.almosthometn.org. If you can't get it to work, tell us and we will email it to you. Adoption fee $150ADOPTION FEE: The adoption fee for a cat is $85. The adoption fee for a kitten is $100. The adoption fee does include the kittens being fixed and their rabies shot when they are old enough through one of our local vets. The adoption fee for a dog is $200. The adoption fee for a puppy is $250. The adoption fee does include the puppies being fixed and their rabies shot when they are old enough through one of our local vets. Mature pet adoption fees are sometimes reduced. The adoption fee for pure bred dogs and cats will vary due to health and age of pet. This helps support our ill animals and our mutts that get left in the system longer. We do reserve the right to change the fees higher or lower due to the circumstance of the animal but what was stated above are the usual adoption fees.  Microchipped pets will have a higher adoption fee.  Our adoption fees do not cover the cost of the vetting and care the animal has received with us and if it ever does, the money just goes back it to helping other animals in need. May 4, 2024, 8:01 pm
